If they’re just countrifying Disney songs they don’t need Mac McAnally. They’re keeping the bears! I’m nervous but hopeful. It could certainly be worse.
Mac’s awards. In addition to Jimmy Kenny Chesney has covered his songs. “That’s my job” is one of my favorites, and the last song Mac sang...
The last scene is beyond needing an update, but the problem is the gaps are too jarring at this point. I’d like to see the closing thester get a small scene that could be “current”. (Maybe just a modern animatronic John). Then make it “A Century of Progress” and cover 1900-2000 in 25 year jumps.
At a minimum the last scene should be less 1993 forward looking, and just historical.
1900-1910, 1930-1940 1960-1970, 1990-2000 would work great.
Hadn’t heard Hanks. Always thought Selleck had the voice for it.
Would really like them to add scenes at the opening and/or closing even if they...
Just back from WDW. We do WDW every other year (DL in the opposite years) and I agree with the comments re: guests (both at WDW and DL*). This trip the guests were much more rude and also seemed to let their kids run wild (and I’m not the get off my lawn type) I missed Hoop dee doo. While I was...
I’m just back, very little mask usage (except monorail and Skyliner) I still used my mask occasionally, such as in Tiki Room where one woman was coughing a lot. Genie, Park Reservations, mobile order, and Park Hopper are bigger changes. 2PM really sucks for Animal Kingdom, especially with...
My first trip to DL wasn’t until six years ago (done WDW every other year my whole life). The area where the monorail wraps through autopia is one of my favorite parts of the park, and a great example of how the “condensed” nature of DL is so charming. I mean you have steam trains, cars...
Perfect - Thanks! Ours are in rows ten and eleven, so at least we should be able to see it. Didn’t know if 10 was around a foot off the ground or around nine feet off the ground (bottom to top v top to bottom).
I suppose that ours are split also answers my question about whether they’re new...
Does anyone know if rows are top to bottom, or bottom to top? Looks like our two tiles got split into two adjacent rows which stinks (is our picture, the other our anniversary).
We were on Rise Friday at DL. Made a point of no spoilers (waited to finish the Imagineering Story for instance) and it was incredible. Seeing my 11yo sons eyes go wide with awe multiple times was priceless.
