So you are saying us lowly slobs can't discuss and should not concern ourselves about what our betters do since we can't afford it? Nice.
I think it concerns people who wonder about the state of the company, which comes up often on this site. The state and price of VIP services could correlate...
Is it for sure they have done away with them? I could have sworn I've seen people go into the FP line with what looked like a paper pass recently. The CM took them, had them scan their MB, hit a button and it turned green, and they went into line. I didn't ask so I'm not sure what it was.
I...
PW is not taking up that big of an area, maybe only about 1/3 of the space of dinosaur, so it is limited on what could go in there. I always thought a giant drop type ride would be good in the space. A comet hitting the earth would keep the Dino theme.
Not sure about a fair with animals...
Since they are already expecting people to plan everything as much as possible in advance, and even selling after Noon entry tickets, just take it one step further. Everyone has to say what park and what times they will be in the park before going at least a week before arrival. Ticket prices...
I don't stay onsite, except a few times "camping" at Ft. Wilderness. So that may be a minus for local AP's, but I do know many passholders that do take a staycation often. Maybe it depends on how local. Living in Altamonte may be local, but that can be an hour or more drive.
I would guess I...
If they keep the cruise analogy, it would mean you come in the afternoon that is day/night 1, then the next is day/night 2, then you would leave by 9-11 in the morning like a cruise.
Makes me wonder if this will be all guest come and leave the same day like a cruise, or if they stagger each...
First time for me was when my son was almost 4, we celebrated his birthday there. Two not that special but nice memories stick with me. We were on the Speedway and seeing my son smile reminded me of when I was a kid and went to a Amusement park and they had some old time cars you could drive. I...
Even if you told people they didn't "get it" or try to learn about it.
I was at BTMR in the standby line and a kid asked his dad why they couldn't be in the other line, dad said it was because they didn't pay. I heard so I explained that it was free and how to do it. He was really confused. I...
I don't think we are disagreeing much here actually. I can see a controlled excursion in small groups to the park during the day with certain access and a set schedule of activities with a guide, set to return at a specific time. While I understand this is much different than a VIP tour and am...
Sure you can go on the island and do some things without paying, but for an excursion or activity on Castaway Cay, you still need to pay. And many people do pay for those things. Like I said, I can see some exclusive time in Batuu before or after hours included with the stay, but I just do not...
With about 100 rooms that is going to be what, 300-500 guests in the Starcruiser at any one time. I don't see them staffing all of GE just for that few people for any special access time. While I could see exclusive access in the morning or evening being included in the price, I would think only...
I may be mistaken, but the article seemed to be saying you wouldn't get a max pass for all the rides, it would bundle certain things together. So you want thrills, you get these 5 rides and lunch ADR at this location. Or a BBB day, with these 5 rides and a princess makeover.
I'll wait to see...
I was reading about people who book passage on cargo ships. There isn't much to do, no real amenities, and it takes longer. But people like it as a way to get to places they might not otherwise get to. They eat with the crew and get to walk around a bit on deck. I think Disney is missing a...
For me, I rarely get a decent same day FP anymore. Kind of make spontaneous trips not as fun. When FP+ was new, I could book some decent ones on the way over, now almost never do I get a decent one same day.
IMO, They need to get rid of FP on attractions that simply don't need it. Or at least...
The VIP tour can cost up to $750 per hour and does not include tickets. Unless the mission is an after hours thing that includes only a few things everyone does, then I could see that included. But not just getting into the park during normal open hours, no way I see that getting offered for free.
Twice I have just taken the initiative to change the queue and close a lane. I stopped at a switchback with a chain and waited until the line in front passed me and closed off a lane or two so nobody had to stand or walk over the mess. Still heard grumbling behind me like I was causing an issue...
