They didn’t announce anything so at this point everything is a rumor. I’m saying that was my perception of the presentation, I have no evidence beyond trying to read between the lines.
My recollection of the presentation was that their plans for Magic Kingdom was multiple additions to the park alongside Beyond Big Thunder. I imagine “Beyond” is probably the biggest part but I’m guessing other parts of the park will receive some love too. Their plan to respond to EU may be to...
I highly doubt there would be no additional animal exhibits with this land. If you think Disney would miss the chance to have a capybara exhibit you’re out of your mind.
My partner has never gotten to ride SOC, only SOTW. My reaction with him was always “I wish you could have seen the original”. Now he gets to see it in December.
I was concerned when they said the show will feature lots of Disney music. The original releases talked more about an original composition so I hope that’s not a creative pivot.

Interesting…could be many things…could be little to nothing. I doubt the surprise is the new show…maybe a preview like the opening number? The fact it takes place at night is interesting.
Moana, to me, feels like a decent fit for AK both in theme and the ability to transform Dinoland into a Polynesia/Pacific Islands area. It could create for some very cool environments and exhibits for the wildlife and culture of the area.
