I am excited to see it. I wasn’t HEA’s biggest fan (unpopular opinion) the music was great but it was too busy. This looks like they toned that down a bit so I think I will like this one. But I really love my nieces love it. It’s magical to them and for that reason I tip my hat to Disney for...
My nieces (4, 7, 11) their friends and older cousins (teenagers) went and saw it last night and they all adored it. Had parts of the new song stuck in their head and sang it for me when they called to tell me about. I had some things I wanted to see that aren’t in there. Then they called and...
Thank you for explaining. This makes sense what you are saying. I don’t think anyone is going to be 100% happy and I think we’ll never know exactly what could have been if it wasn’t for COVID. I fully admit I don’t have insider info just a CM friend and a friend who is sort of a low level...
I guess for me the idea is I know it’s for what I think and hope will be for a fantastic nighttime spectacular so it has a purpose and I can say not attractive but totally worth. Ends justify the means I guess in my mind?
To be fair 18+ months have happened in a global pandemic that we still aren’t past. Is it slow? Sure but there are some pretty big extenuating circumstances included global supply shortages and shipping issues.
Cinderella’s Castle is part of WDW. If it doesn’t represent WDW, what does? It’s an attraction and it’s being celebrated as part of the 50th. This is not intended to be combative, I’m really trying to understand your viewpoint on this. What is WDW and how do you celebrate it then?
They could do a video game land and they could do it pretty cool and have the IP to pull it off. Wreck-it-Ralph, Onward, Kingdom Hearts. And they could really take any IP and turn it in a game situation. When I did they Disney theme park course this was the land I designed and it’s ripe for ideas!
Yes! The music sounded amazing and I LOVE they have folks native to those countries and cultures doing the music and signing. One could say it’s harmonious
Also I would love a sugar rush from Wreck-It-Ralph. I imagine these huge old arcade games you enter. It would be an in door track that directs you(sort of like Test Track) but in your own car. You also have VR goggles that add special affects. So you’re seeing the real world but also seeing...
That would be amazing. It could be more than a simple dark ride. It could start out like a dark ride as you view the cave of wonders until Abu touches something. Then you get on your flying carpet and fly for your life. You should eventually escape thanks to rubbing the lamp (I mean you...
A Hercules Planetarium show turned ride. The preshow includes the muses singing a song that will be the plot of your ride. Also Greek urns adorn the area giving you clues as well.
You enter the planetarium. You all sit in these special seats as Phil talks to you about the stars (named after...
Unpopular opinion: I think this looks amazing!!! The screens are awesome, the music is awesome and I’m excited for the IP in this show. I dig it! Can’t wait to see it in December!
I think they should do a contest to create a ride. Think about how many ideas they would mine from huge fans and see what it is their guests want. All that creativity. They could find the next Joe Rhode
Sort of unrelated but he must have some deal with Disney. He and his ex-wife and still business partner Dani are executive producers on the Behind the Attraction series on Disney+
