We've never done any of the after hours ticketed events (perhaps we think Disney has gotten enough of our money from 20 + trips over the years?) so can't speak to them. My only relevant comment would be you're only a week removed from August. Beware of the heat and hummididity!

Renting points is the way to go. We're going six nights (studio) in December. 3 nights OKW, 3 nights AKL Kidani. Total cost through Dave's was less than six nights at Pop. Yeahhhh!

Thank you to everyone for the input. I think Darstarr hit the nail on the head. For $20 (or whatever) it may be worth it for the peace of mind knowing that when we get back to the new hotel to freshen up we know our bags are there.

We've used DVC Rental Store several times and been quite satisfied. I'm in the process of using Dave's right now for a December trip. So far so good!

One other thing I haven't seen in this conversation so far is that by booking room only you are free to purchase park tickets at a discount through a third party. We have used Maple Leaf Tickets a number of times and been quite satisfied.

We went to Boatright's on our last trip. It was quite good. I had the jambalaya, and if I could remember what Mrs. P had I'd die a happy man. As an aside, we went to see Yehaa Bob after dinner. Great show!
