It's actually not a bad idea, and is a good way to have aspects of 'normalcy' that wouldn't otherwise be possible during a pandemic.
I personally know a handful of Cast Members and they have all talked to him, and they expressed how interested he was in their roles.
I don't think there were cameras rolling either.
He's a real nice guy. Sometimes, it's just as simple as that.
I'd argue that the most valuable theme park properties/features are (not the property value in general) are:
Location
Quality
Good economic environment
Company Brand (What is the consumer expecting? Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Legoland, Six Flags, etc.)
Demographic Skew
Mickey Mouse & Friends...
Animal Kingdom was a terrible park when it opened. It just was pretty had, but a good foundation unlike DCA, Walt Disney Studios or even Hollywood Studios, but extremely underbuilt with only 2 rides. It's now one of the best par's in the world through natural, high-quality additions that are...
I've always said that SeaWorld's real Blackfish was Potter.
Not that it didn't have an impact, but Potter was not a rising tide for all ships. It pulled out those remaining 'extra' days on a Disney trip.
Don't expect any announcements any time soon, but this was looked at with scrutiny and was made to mitigate the spillover from the rest of the resort's construction. This will not be the only significant casualty, but it is the only one practically decided upon at this time. TDO behind the...

Landry's Group has furloughed and laid off over 45,000 employees (supposedly temporarily) which owns or operates Yak & Yeti's, the T-Rex Cafe, and the Rainforest Cafe restaurants. Bloomberg.com. Apparently the owner, billionaire Tilman Fertitta, is a pretty scummy guy.
Patina Group which owns...
Bill Gates has known the risks for a while, and he has been worried about COVID-19 for a while. Him truthfully talking about a study is good, but it's dangerous when people are using it to negate its impacts.
It's disappointing that people are trying to discredit one out many, many other models...
Models have been predicting what's happening now since late January. I don't know about that Tweet, but scientific models are based upon facts and should be trusted. Failure to do so gets us to where Italy is with overcrowded hospitals and people turned away to die. People just haven't known...
Oh absolutely, you have to be careful where you receive news. That's why I have this trusty fact-checker in my signature haha! Gets you as close to the truth as you possibly can be.
I'm really worried about all the viral fake news on social media. Most of it is right-wing, but a ton of it is...
I meant to quote the person you were responding to, my bad.
However, if you're talking about cable news they all have a bend, which is particularly reinforced by the guests appearing on the 'news' shows. The actual reporting in the mornings and afternoons of all three cable networks are...
