If this isn't open by May 2nd I will be very disappointed. Our first ever visit to Disney was December 2019 and we saw the construction, we have now been 3 times since then (May being our 4th) and it still isn't open lol

No you shouldn't be worried. Since you will be there so long you will have plenty of time to see everything you want. I would just pick a few days to actually buy Genie+ to make sure you hit what you really want if you don't want to wait nearly 2 hours. Or take advantage of early entry and rope...

I rode it for the first time a couple weeks ago. I couldn't remember what the music was, with all the twisting and moving around on the ride I can't remember what the hell was going on around me, doesn't help that my wife screams her head off the whole time and I usually can't stop laughing lol

We were there for nearly 2 weeks and it was running a lot, our 3 year old kept saying she wanted to go on.

Glad we were there the past 2 weeks and not now. With the time we were there and utilizing Genie+ on some days, we didn't have many waits and got to do pretty much everything we wanted to do with the kids. Longest wait might have been to meet Sully, dude must have been taking breaks every 5 min

Bummed we are going to just miss this reopening
