Have they recently replaced or done maintenance on the projectors? It's been a few months and when we rode yesterday (lower hallway far right door) the image seemed much crisper and clearer than what I remembered.
That doesn't necessarily mean they are homeless either. There have been expose news stories about panhandlers that do it for a living and have a nice house and car.
I will never forget when I was in college at the University of Miami there was a panhandler in a wheelchair that was always at the...
In the days after the COVID reopening I rode 7 times (4 consecutive and then 3 consecutive). If it wasn't for the reduced pre-show they were using I couldn't have done that.
We could have kept going on and on and on. It was especially convenient because they were allowing cut through re-rides...
A garage would take up a smaller footprint thereby reducing the amount of solar panels that could be installed over the parking. An enormous amount of energy would need to be used to build the unnecessary garage.
There may be some kind of incentive to put solar panels over the parking lot but...
They could say the long wait for the ride is part of the theming although it would be more authentic if they found a way to reverse the queue and have you wait a long time after arriving at the venue for the concert!
They could do that but would have to retheme the pre-show and the loading area to match the new story. It's not just the cheap cardboard with black lights that need replacement.
It would be easy but it would completely lose the story of the ride. The whole theming is based on taking a really fast car to get to a concert with backstage passes. You don't need a specific band but you do need A band to fit the story.
Otherwise you are just randomly taking a high speed...
There used to be an intangible property tax but it was eliminated 15 years ago. It could be construed as an income tax of sorts because higher income people would typically have more intangible property.
Apple really needs to update the software to only enable the alerts when the location is on a roadway. It's simple to implement and will stop wasting 911 dispatcher's time.
I'm surprised there aren't nets installed under the track wherever it is above other track to mitigate the issue. Even with this rule there is still the risk of something accidentally falling out of a pocket.
So would I and that's why neither you nor I will ever become a CEO that earns that kind of money. The people that do are wired differently. They have a drive and mentality that is very different from somebody like me.
Look at Elon Musk. He basically works 24/7 when he has enough wealth to...
I understand why they did it but the biggest disservice ever done to low income people was developing low income housing projects that were isolated from housing of other income levels. All the people living there ever see is other poverty stricken people.
If Disney wanted to try and do things...
Perhaps they could make this addition to a ride that doesn't torture the guests who ride it. I know it's a Disney classic but every 5 or 10 years when I decide to make a nostalgia ride I feel like I'm trapped in the invention of a James Bond villain!
This makes a lot of sense. I would not think that the feature would have made it past the first meeting to define specifications without being on a road enabling the feature.
I guess it could false alarm in a park with a rollercoaster that is right up against a road close enough for the GPS...
The first time I didn't notice the word "here" and was thinking that the vast majority of people know her from "Murder, She Wrote." In the general population I'd guess 90% or more couldn't tell you who the voice of Mrs. Potts was for a $1 million prize without looking it up.
Anyway, RIP.
