Nope. Having staffing for the performers was the issue. All venues similar to this have had the boxes installed, whether operational yet or not has varied.

Every meet and greet has a standby line. Mickey and Fairttale Hall have lightning lanes like you mentioned. Buzz and the bears are purely sightings still.

The cast also spent about 9 months workshopping and developing the resort/show before it even opened last March so they’ve been at it a long time at this point.

Literally SOP. Equity contracts come up for renewal every year for every offering. There were frequent switch ups at Citizens of Hollywood every year. Lots go into it that we aren’t privy to, how they are as employees at the work place, whether casting still likes their performance or not, all...

It’s the most minimal perk they can offer cast and their families so might as well. It also helps serve for them to get the operational practice they need since soft openings are more or less a thing of the past.

A show with this many elements run twice a night every day will always have issues…you most likely won’t even notice watching it. But when you have someone intentionally watching a livestream of every performance pointing out every. single. little. thing. that is out of place, it kind of gets...

You just said it, in the last decade or so they have stopped before the fireworks. So going off of that operational knowledge of easily the last 10-15 years…they’re not going to change it now. Especially with staffing shortages, and other issues.

I’m sure they need to beef up staffing but honestly isn’t this probably due to firework times? The fireworks are at 8:15, the train track is right in the fallout zone so in order for them to have enough time to cycle out, put the trains away and secure the area, I doubt they could stay open much...

The fof that reopened in March 2022 is fof now. Nothing on the books to come back anytime soon.

Gonna be waiting awhile as that show closed in 2017.

It’s overall a character staffing shortage all the way around.

Rise of the Resistance was the first, followed by Remy and now Guardians to have virtual queue.

It almost feels lazy because *it is* lazy.

Stilt walkers being there some days and missing others is due to staffing. No crowd interaction still.

No Fant pop ups. Occasionally at world showplace. No pop ups at Oasis.

They’re only spaced out for choreo purposes and staging…not 2020 reasons…all the characters there are tied to other tracks throughout the whole show so if they didn’t add someone during the closure/refurb; it’s going to be a long while before we see different characters.
