This is wonderful to see. Thanks for mentioning the return for the holidays besides the 3 dates in October. When checking the 'Cast in Bronze' website, it states:
"The live touring schedule of Cast in Bronze will resume with Charlie St. Cyr-Paul, dear friend and protégé. Charlie brings a new...
Splash was the first attraction I went on many years ago on our first vsit to WDW. It's still an absolute favourite, but I'm good with the change. I never saw Song of the South, but really enjoy The Princess and the Frog. I think it's good to change things up. Then again, I was fine with, and...
Wonderful. Now, we just have to get Canada to do that too. I've seen several doctors on the news lately discuss how this is no longer necessary for fully vaccinated people. Especially since it has been shown to do almost nothing.
Wonderful. I live in Atlantic Canada on the east coast, and although I could fly to Orlando now (Canada US border closed for driving), upon return to my province, I'd have to self isolate for 14 days. That's obviously impractical, but I am optimistic that things will be much better in a year. We...
Perhaps, but I retired this year myself, and many people didn't expect it because I loved my job. Sometimes you just want to do something different, and the older you get the more your perspective might change. I'm kinda old so I can say that. :-)
Or, at age 65 after 40 years with Disney, he just might want to do other things with his life. He would not be the first person during this pandemic to take at look at his/her life and think about what they want to do going forward.
We got 66 people (out of our group of 68) on Rise last Sunday and many again Wednesday. Those in our large group who didn't get on Wednesday, didn't even try to get boarding passes that day. Many of us were more interested that day in MMRR and we had all 22 of those people on and off by 8:40am...
I'll be at WDW the day MMRR is scheduled to open. Although I've been to WDW many times, I've never been for a major attraction opening (although we did Rise a week after opening with the boarding group thing). Since it's unlikely there will be FP+ for opening day and they probably won't do...
Not backed up that far thankfully. We exited the Star Destroyer Hanger and just turned the corner and came to a stop. The queue moved slowly after that and close to15 min later, we were directed to a holding cell
We had the opportunity to ride RotR last week and absolutely loved it (hadn't watched any video or read reviews beforehand). It was an absolutely amazing, immersive E-ticket attraction; from the queue to unload. The scale and sets were stunning and we defintely bought into the narrative and felt...
:D I saw John Cleese live a few months ago, here on Canada's East coast. It was a life highlight for me...something I've been waiting for since his early Python days and since the first 6 episodes of Fawlty Towers in '74. :)
I was waiting to see DAK 2016 attendance (Pre Pandora) to DAK 2018 (full year with Pandora). Increased attendance from 10,844,000 to 13,750,000. That's an increase of nearly 27%! In absolute numbers though, that's an increase of nearly 3 million people annually. This is almost the same as 2009...
If I've only learned one thing in all my years of visiting WDW and checking out new or changed attractions, that's to wait to experience them before judging. There have been things I thought I'd love, but didn't, and vice versa. I very much enjoy R.o.L. and I'll wait to see what these changes bring.
Thanks for the comparison. I like the 2018 show better actually with the more consistent rooftop pyro and added fire effects. The absence of large pyro for a minute or so near the end, isn't nearly enough for me to prefer the older version.
