That's all large conventions though. You're trying to pack a ton of people and events into a short period of time. Its always rushed and crazy. Not Disney's fault.
Don't get twisted about Peltz. He only wants to make more money. He couldn't care less about reinvestment in parks. He would only want them to spend money if it could be directly monetized to make more.
I can't recall a time when they made 'new attraction' announcements during an earnings call.
They might say something like 'we're going to invest X in the parks in the next 5 years' but I very much doubt they'd say 'we're going to build Carsland at DHS' or anything similar.
Theres also the problem of straight up banning public IPs that may change. If you're posting in a public place, from a phone, etc, your IP isn't 'yours' and someone else might get it. Safer to ban just the user/email, unless said user becomes a larger problem. And in that case, like you said, it...
LIV hemorrhages money. The YouTube viewership is horrendous. They pay the golfers way too much. And they won't get a TV deal because the PGA won't allow their partners to have them and have the PGA. Ever.

Some divisions of TWDC have closed and placed for sale or rent buildings that they weren't using based on the current number of daily employees/CMs. Those CMs were given the option to work from the office or home, but they had to commit to the same number of in-office days per week, meaning if...
Depending on how it falls during the week, they usually keep them up through the 12 days of Christmas. Because that also keeps them up for the Marathon a lot of years.
I don't think you even realize how many jobs revolve around WDW. Not only the 60k Disney CMs, but all the jobs that revolve around Disney guests and those 60k CMs. The Florida economy would not survive the closure of WDW.
