As much as I would love for it to return, the Kiss Goodnight contains an instrumental snippet of Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, and so we will likely never hear it again in its current form. :(
If they don’t keep Go The Distance they can just throw the whole show away lol. But yes, Main Street in stained glass would be stunning. I hope they extend the red, gold-leafed projections on to Main Street as well. Next to the stained glass, it is the best projection I’ve seen on the castle.
Winds increased to 105mph with a slight shift to the east. Also significant is that the NHC has landfall in Florida as a category 2 hurricane now instead of 1.
True, the current forecast track puts between 5-10FT of storm surge into Tampa Bay. Whereas a shift far enough east would significantly reduce that. My main concern is that if the storm comes in more east and south of the current track, that gives it less time if any to weaken prior to landfall...
Hurricane hunters recently placed the eye of the storm about 40 miles east of the previous forecast track. The NHC doesn't update the forecast track at intermediate advisories like the 8PM one above, but they will for the 11PM tonight. I don't envy the NHC's job. A shift to the right would put...
Grew up in Sanford when Charley hit. First and only time I've ever been in the eye of a hurricane. In fact it was Charley that lead me on the path to become a meteorologist. Ian is very much giving me Charley vibes. The storm has been consistently to the right of the forecast path and the models...
And yet something tells me current TDO would do exactly that. The fact that D’Amaro framed it as the return of the popular Happily Ever After anthem makes me worried they don’t understand what made the show special at all.
I just hope they understand that it wasn’t just the theme song that was beloved, but the entire story that was told. The segments of Dreams, The Journey, Friendship, Love, Adversity, and eventually Triumph are what gave Happily Ever After so much heart.
If this becomes a thrown together collage...
If they really do dust these plans off, I would love for the return of Mickey’s ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas during the holidays.
This was my favorite show at Magic Kingdom and I was very sad when we lost the theater to a parking lot…
When I went to Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, I had a similar experience. Was very easy to find a spot in the hub minutes before Enchantment began. And this was a day the park was fully booked for park reservations. Got off of Space Mountain at 9:05 and cast members were still ushering people...
I was there this past Sunday and can confirm the finale was back to pre-April 21st pyro, though the Mickey fireworks were still intact. First time seeing Enchantment in the park. Pretty much mirror what’s been said before; it is a better show in person, but definitely inferior to HEA. There are...
