Ugh, really? I found their whole screaming spiel insufferable. Pandora definitely needs live entertainment, but I would welcome something much more lowkey.
I'm sure they'll just do it in chunks at some point like they do everywhere else. The exit from Connections is in the new style, so I doubt they abandoned their plans. Otherwise, they'd have matched it.
This is definitely me. I would much rather take a stress-free walk through EPCOT while being in no particular hurry to get to my destination than take a crammed-full bus to Boardwalk or Hollywood Studios.
If this does have merit, EPCOT seriously needs to be exempt. Half the reason I get park hopper is so that I can use EPCOT as a gateway to Hollywood Studios and the Boardwalk. I’m sure many Boardwalk and Crescent Lake guests use it in reverse for the Magic Kingdom.
The problem with the Contemporary renovation isn't the room size or plumbing. It's that the color scheme is a bit off-putting, several of the finishes and furnishings come off as cheap, and the IP details are poorly implemented (crudely rendered decals in closets and dressers, ugly curtains...
Out of curiosity, has there been any progress to the left of guest relations? Last time I saw a photo of that area, it was still fenced off and the original planter looked like it had been beaten to heck and back.
They definitely need to at least replace these with other things. But please make whatever replaces the Pandora Drummers less awful; they actively reduce my enjoyment of the land.
I absolutely agree that the serenity is appreciated and that they should probably just leave it alone to ensure they don’t disrupt that, but if they feel Tom Sawyer doesn’t have the requisite allure or connection to the Disney brand, I’ve often wondered why they don’t just turn it into some...
A lump of rock with an ounce of charisma and the ability to go to a public speaking engagement without bumbling and sweating through his suit is better than a lump of rock. 🤷♂️
It's a common suggestion, so I doubt it's intended as trolling. Additionally, opening Small World up to being sensibly used as a musical leitmotif for the World Showcase lagoon nighttime show would be nice since it would fulfill their requirement of being something of a "known" Disney song while...
I mean, a lot of their output this century has been live action remakes of their output from last century, so there's still a fairly strong connection between what they're putting out now and what you see in the Magic Kingdom.
To me, this is all pretty spot-on and is definitely the best of all the lagoon resort refurbs if this does in fact carry over into the main guest rooms. Most of this would even work for the lobby.
+1 to all that. It's also bonkers to me that they don't constantly plus old or underperforming attractions. For instance, there are about 10 glaringly obvious way they could enhance Under the Sea to help it become the people eater it has the potential to be.
I don't think anything will ever balance attendance. The majority of people will always want Magic Kingdom no matter what as part of their vacation, and I don't really think rollercoasters specifically do much to solve that. Flight of Passage is probably the most significant crowd-mover in...
Hopefully Disney just generally cools it with coasters at this point since they seem to have become especially awful at hiding the associated boxes. Every non-Magic Kingdom park now has one or two (Cosmic Rewind, Slinky Dog, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest), and Magic Kingdom has...
