Ah, yet ye are the one with the lacking knowledge my good fellow man, ye should know fine fellow Bob wants something modern and cool and diverse. Something with a nondescript one-word marketable title. Something gender neutral and dumb like....SPARKED.
We make good use of early entry.
I'm the same way, if I pay for G+ then I'm taking home less merch, or perhaps going for 1-2 less days in the park (if G+ works well then I might not need the extra days in the park or hotel).
That's a good question!
With a toddler, value to me isn't derived through money. Short waits are key. Like I said, lower than $9 would be nice but it's not the priority.
I wouldn't want my toddler waiting in anything past a posted 30min wait. If it was a must do and the last day of our holiday...
So $LL is essentially a gamble? That 30 minute line could be 60 by the time your arrival window opens, or it could be 15.
EDIT: 30 minutes is a long time to wait in a line with kids. I'd much rather spend the 25min running around outside with them. Of coruse the $9 could be lower ...
The one thing that has started to bother me more as I look at this from a marketing perspective, is Disney's need to name this Genie. That stinks of a project name or working title to pass it up the ladder.
They're naming the product based on the technology of it, rather than the guest...
I can see the opposite happening. Making lines and crowds manageable is the white whale. If Chapek can do it, then good on him. Whether G+ and reservations the way to get there, is yet to be determined.
Your quote was mis-attributed to me (dsinclair said it)
For the record I agree with you, they bled a lot. Yes they're still a massively rich company but they bled.
I loved this hoodie so much. True story: I came close to buying it one night, but saw a massive beetle on the sleeve and freaked out. I never got a chance to go back and get it again.
