Mask Mandates Dropping For Disney Transportation?

I think the difference is in the size of the fleet operations. Disney has a lot more buses and drivers than Universal. The NTSB is an investigative agency, they don't have regulatory authority. I believe because of the size of Disney's bus operations, it means they would be subject to US...

    Rumor Major merchandise shortages

Spoke with a merchandise CM today at DHS who said that half the stores on Sunset are shut down at because they don’t have enough merchandise. This seems consistent with what I saw elsewhere with lots of Halloween and Christmas merch still out. Also, in December while at All Stars saw they were...

Galactic Star Cruiser ideas for activities

I was having a discussion with someone recently, about story lines that Lucasfilm should pursue for future shows/movies, and it turned into an idea for a potential activity that could be used for Galactic Star Cruiser guests. One of them that seemed like a great idea was the scene from The...

Iconic Purple Directional Signs Being Replaced

Probably budgeted along with the entrance sign refresh. Also, being the 50th, someone probably added it to the list of things to update as well. You know, just to give the resort a "fresh new look" for the celebration. I would guess it's probably about a year late too, due to COVID.

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Oh, have no doubt, Disney is VERY sincere, about minimizing costs, reducing labor, and maximizing profits.

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

That might make sense if they are offering as a "free" service that's actually built in to the cost of the room, but why not just continue it and push the cost back to the guest? But, again, it was added into the cost of the room, so was it really not profitable any more? I feel like there's...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Disney has shown that they no longer care about this group of their guests. We are the ones who complain the most, yet keep coming back again and again regardless, yet typically spend less. In some ways, we're the ones that have forced Disney into this position. We, the fans, broke Walt Disney...

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

I guess they're just tossing out the four keys (Safety, Courtesy, Show, Efficiency) to heavily favor the fifth one they added, INCLUSION. Now, all the other vendors in Orlando will get a cut of the Disney pot. How thoughtful of them! 😂

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Clearly it's a canned response. They didn't even attempt to address ANY of my concerns or issues, which just reinforce the points I made.

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

I emailed WDWGuestCommunications the following: For more than 10 years we’ve been coming to Walt Disney World and enjoying the Magical Express bus service to and from the airport. Hearing that this service has been discontinued beginning January 1, 2022 is very saddening and also quite...

News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

No, it's just bad show. When you take a ride out of commission and it's no longer available to guests, you should remove all of the signage. Signs should have been taken down way before they started demolition. Leaving the signs up just confuses guests who aren't in the know.

News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

The latest pics of them demolishing PW really have me confused. Why would they leave the signs up for an attraction that's being demolished? Makes no sense to me. It's just another page in the latest of Disney's "Bad Show"!

    DJ at MK exit

It's really odd. Seems someone at MK made a snap decision to try and fix issues with transportation delays for exiting. Why this, why now, I don't get. There are other ways to handle this, though. Like keep the park open for an extra hour after fireworks. Make announcements about transportation...

Disney executives have come up with the answer to rock bottom Cast Member morale

Wow, this has to be the most toxic and politically charged thread I've seen here a while. o_O

News Walt Disney World holidays 2021

While I think they're a great Christmas season experience, I don't really think they need to do them anymore, at least not physically. The projection mapping has gotten so good that they can now re-create the same visuals and even add more effects now. I think they may try and go this route for...

Scentsy and Walt Disney World are bringing a new guest experience within Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom

There was a Reddit thread over the weekend, regarding Scentsy people being in the parks and distributing free gift bags of their products and info. Some reported that when they told the vendors "no", they tried to give the bags to their kids. A lot of people in the thread were Disney fans and...

Why isn’t there resort-wide food delivery service on property?

I don't know how profitable it was, but the Minnie Van concept was very popular, and I know we used it a few times on trips. If I had to guess, I would say the pandemic just made things too difficult for them to continue under limited occupancy, and the cleaning requirements. It wouldn't...

Why isn’t there resort-wide food delivery service on property?

There were two questions actually, the second being if they had it available, would you use it?
