    World Drive Phase-III

The currently empty space is called: Chapek's Intellectual Properties (Is that good enough for our anti-Chapek world?)

    DVC Point-Borrowing Restrictions

Walking "works" if you're trying to stay ahead of 7-month bookings. I am planning a stay in May 2022 right now and started the walking process today... However, that process could fall short in the next couple of weeks should owners at the resort I am trying to get want to book the dates I am...

    DVC Points Transfer Rules

I am just a gaggle of questions and quandaries right now. Does anyone have experience the the application of points transfer rules in a given use year? I'll try to outline my specific case and question below: Our UY is September. I received transferred points from a friends DEC 2021 UY...

    DVC Point-Borrowing Restrictions

Does anyone have inside info on when the 50% borrowing restriction may be lifted? I have a contract with 270 shared with family members. We are pretty detailed in points-planning and this restriction after the closure has made my points a mess!

How Many APs per DVC Membership?

With special events like Moonlight Magic, DVC members are able to bring a certain number of guests with them. Is there a similar rule with annual passes? Our family has a five family members with the blue DVC cards--can we buy more than 5 annual passes?

    Construction between Contemporary and TTC

That is my point... the difference between the two resorts could well be the vision of Chapek versus Iger or the new operations plans and goals as TWDC comes out of the pandemic. Everything that has bearing on this type of decision has changed since 2019.

I'm watching some DVC rentals. July is on the table for us, as well, and there is some decent availability then.

News Magic Kingdom and Epcot Fireworks to Resume July 1st

We are considering a quickly planned trip in June and the return of fireworks, plus the other things that may help signal, might push me over the edge.

Tell Me Yes or Tell Me No

A few things that I've not seen mentioned when skimming through the posts. If your main travel months are December (Christmas decor) and May-ish (for Flower and Garden), I would strongly suggest buying at Copper Creek. CC and Poly are difficult to book at 7 months in December, but CC is...

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

I think it is supposed to be finished by sometime in July. August should be fully open unless there are delays.

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

Disney posted a TikTok video (which has given me a headache). The toilet is beyond the shower with a door to separate it off from the main part of the bathroom.

Ready to buy, push me over the edge

Buying at AKL would "guarantee" (no such thing as a guarantee in DVC booking) you the option to book AKL at 11 months and change to SSR at 7 months for any trip--*some* variety "guaranteed." The opposite wouldn't necessarily be true if purchasing at SSR. With this being said, I suspect you...

Ready to buy, push me over the edge

As everyone says... buy where you would not be disappointed to stay every time. Historically, SSR will always have availability at 7-months. That is not always the case with AKL. I know nothing about Aulani availability... but from the info you have listed, I think AKL is the choice.

News Refurbishment coming soon to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort - Moana details to be included

So what's the story here? A real refurb or just some piddling to use as a good cover to not reopen an unneeded resort space?

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I have a friend who was at DAK yesterday. He said they rode KRR twice in a row and barely got wet at all. I know that doesn't tell us for sure either way, but might indicate they are not running the soaking features.
