News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

Not to say you can't also love EPCOT, but how does either end of this explain why IP is bad beyond it not what draws you in?

Kathleen Kennedy Contract Renewed Through 2024

Is there a Star Wars trilogy that kept the momentum? They all do well, but there seems a sort of burn-out (for the general public) by the third of each set. Adjusted for inflation: IV: $3.26 (BILLION) V: $1.91 VII: $1.41 I: $1.89 II: $1.05 III: $1.24 VII: $2.3 VIII: $1.39 IX: $1.12 Revenge...

I get what your saying, but I think you're comparing two things that really can't be compared. Your comparing the modern IP era with the golden age of corporate open wallets. That doesn't really exist anymore. I don't think a partnership attraction today would be handled in at all the same...

Kathleen Kennedy Contract Renewed Through 2024

Was it KK or Filoni who came up with helicopter lightsabers? Because that may be my least favorite thing to come about in the Disney Star Wars era. That and the gross over-use of womp rat.

News Primeval Whirl, Stitch's Great Escape and Rivers of Light permanently closed

I'm assuming you very intentionally only specified the RIDE at Imagination. Because the Magic Eye Theatre pre-shows were nothing but ten-minute commercials for Kodak. The original EPCOT attractions were highly constrained by corporate interests. They threw away whole pavilions to cater to...

Then Disney by default isn't really for you. Old-school EPCOT Center is absolutely not for you. Which is fine, but this has nothing to do with IP or even theme.

But they yeti is fine? It's not actually a real yeti- just an imagineered version. How is that different from a comic book version. Or any? They're all interpretations, but one is seen as legit and the other as unspeakable.

If corporate interests don't bother you then why does Disney's own corporate interests (the company you're actually paying to visit)? Exxon is fine, but Roxxon is heresy?

I don't get it. They're still based on something previously established. There's no purity to the concepts. What's worse, is how those Epcot ones you pine for were filtered through outside corporate interests.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Oh man, tell me you're not reading this forum with "Hyperbole" on. There's a button down at the bottom of the page next to "Dark Mode". Makes it tolerable and simulates the type of conversations actual adults would have.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

A statement that lacking historical precedence would be seen as pure lunacy for the Fantasyland/Tomorrowland stretch.

Reflective>Mirrors Yes, the mirrors looked great, but if you never broiled in that queue with only a digital clock for entertainment, you just don't know.

Kathleen Kennedy Contract Renewed Through 2024

Can't get a thing off the ground- we are in times of plenty. We used to get two hours of content every three years at best. They recently got flak for putting two films out in a year and the releasing the chapter films in every other. I get it though- I want more. And I'd think wanting someone...

    The Book Of Boba Fett

Great to have the number finally confirmed. That may be the first taste of the soundtrack (same composer as Mando.) Also, as expected, that's a banta bacta-bath in the palace which explains why his face has healed.
