News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

Thanks for sharing the personal part ❤️ Not to belittle the personal part at all, but it's one of the great things about theme parks and especially places like "our" Epcot Center was. It was such an uplifting and optimistic place that couldn't help but life our soul a little higher. Even when...

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

After watching Harmonious in the park twice and confirming just how bad it is - at least in my opinion, I decided to sit down tonight and watch our video from the last night of RoE. I cried like a baby remembering the energy and love shown as the crew sailed the barges backstage (there's an...

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

We went tonight with several guests visiting for the 50th. I was promising myself I would give it a chance with a mostly opened mind, but boy did it fall flat. I was surprised to see several "regular guests" just turn and walk away from the show. I toughed it out for the guests who liked it...

News Space 220 Restaurant dining experience at Epcot's Future World

We ate tonight at sunset and were able to watch the sun set across earth, and I thought that was pretty cool. The wait stuff were in character talking about living in space - much like GE was originally. We will see how long this one lasts. The food as you know is pricey, and we ended up...

News Disney honors four retired leaders with a window on Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom

The windows really used to be a hallowed spot I thought. It was fun to stroll, take some slow time, and read the names. This like so many things in the parks has just gotten cheapened to the level of a participation trophy.

News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

I haven't been on the one in France, but I've now done Epcot enough to say I like it. It's not great, but it is cute. If one considers where it is, it's great and much, much needed. Having spent a lot of time in the Epcot version, though, I can say I like the pictures form WDSP a lot. Like...

    Club 33

There is a generous allotment of day tickets, but there are only 5 annual VIP tours. There is indeed currently is a lengthy waiting list. There is a substantial initiation fee and substantial annual dues, but a lot of people think it is worthwhile and really enjoy it. Contacting the club...

I was watching guest use the fast pass line at Mickey and Minnie’s runaway railway

This is everyone, although they stopped Golden Oak during covid and haven't yet returned that option. I guess a few million doesn't buy FP anymore. It's been my understanding that the vast majority of those whom we see now are DAS returns, though.

News Magic Kingdom and Epcot Fireworks to Resume July 1st

We have been waiting to over to Magic Kingdom because of the rain. It's pretty much go now or don't go at all, so it looks like we will get wet. If it is light rain they will still fire them, and the lasers look better in the light rain anyway. Can't believe I'm this excited about HEA.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Martin hit the nail on the head with regard to SR and it's possible E ticket status. I would say it does not even equal the sum of it's parts. It has some immersion, although I've never got over walking past the Falcon to then watch it land inside. That being said, it does not have the...

News Reflections of Earth confirmed to be replaced by Harmonious

From what I saw and heard tonight of the fireworks, I'm excited. Other than the fact, that it's not RoE, I have to look at the new junk in the lagoon, and I'll be standing in the ruined remains of the greatest park ever. It will still be nice to see fireworks again.

My family has a VIP Main Entrance pass (or lifetime pass)

Right, maybe his grandmother would have gotten one. She would have had to have been old enough to own land when Walt was buying land in the early 1950s. That would put her in at least her early 90s right now. Dad has the card at his house. So, he rolls over, scoops up his mom, and rolls over...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

You and I both know they can't stray much farther from what made WDW special, yet they continue to pack the hotels full whilst offering less. I have dreams of people wising up and staying elsewhere or just staying away for a while, but I just don't see it happening. I like seeing the stock...

My family has a VIP Main Entrance pass (or lifetime pass)

Your grandmother owned part of what was turned into DLR almost 70 years ago, and you have a lifetime pass to the parks now? Makes total sense.

    [COVID-19] DCL Sailings Canceled

I have to agree they are not nearly as bad as they once were, but I still think it would be difficult to test even some of the people daily. That being said, I think most of us would agree to almost anything to get back to cruising at this point.
