    Disney's Investor Day 2020 (December 10th, 2020)

For those complaining about too many Star Wars or Marvel sequels and spin-offs, some perspective- during the Golden Age of Hollywood, they made 28 (TWENTY-EIGHT!) Blondie movies, which is about 27 and a half more movies about Dagwood being a nincompoop who likes ridiculously large sandwiches...

Live Action Rescue Rangers in Development

Well, considering that they had Jim Cummings, who's not exactly a household name, as Pooh & Tigger in Christopher Robbin, I'd say there was an outside chance.

Except when it comes to paying author royalties, apparently.

If you're going to quote Flair on a WDW board, it really should be the Space Mountain quip.

Politics RUMOR: Lin Manuel Miranda and Weird Al to Redo Hall of Presidents

I'm reminded of an old saying from the pro wrestling business- "The champion should bring credibility to the title belt, not vice versa." Same with The Office. It only has as much respectability as the person in it.

Politics RUMOR: Lin Manuel Miranda and Weird Al to Redo Hall of Presidents

They should put Trump next to Teddy Roosevelt, and program it so that every time Biden talks, Trump looks like he's going to interrupt and then Teddy stares him down.

    Poppycock is fine though.

Swearing in the parks, have you experienced this?

See, the trick is to swear without people knowing you're swearing. Other languages are good. Me? I use "The Cant" from the Dungeons & Dragons Planescape setting, and if any barmy sod doesn't twig to that, then they can quit rattlin' their bone-box and pike off!

"If you told me thirty years ago that Bill would be in prison and I'd be the boring dad, even I would have taken that bet."

Muppets Now Coming to Disney +

Licensing issues, most likely. Unless you want to hear "Rainbow Connection" for the zillionth time.

Yes, and Sesame Street has been terrible for a while, too!

Muppets Now Coming to Disney +

You might want to tell Dave Goelz that, because he was in The Dark Crystal Show and Muppets Now.

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passes away from Colon Cancer

I'm watching the ABC special now and getting very choked up.

Muppets Now Coming to Disney +

In their defense, the Jim Henson team also had The Dark Crystal series, and the new Earth To Ned coming out. They may be spread a little thin. Buffy Season 6 and Angel Season 4 weren't very good in part because a lot of the staff were also doing Firefly.

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passes away from Colon Cancer

I'd only seen Black Panther (and then I missed the first 20 minutes) and I'm absolutely gutted. While he hadn't made all that many movies, the ones he did make will leave a huge legacy. Rest In Power. Wakanda Forever.

Could We See A WDW Casino In The Future?

If you really want to gamble in Walt Disney World, eat a chili dog and then go stand in line for Space Mountain.

Muppets Now Coming to Disney +

The thing is, the Muppets have always been contemporary. The reason the original Muppet Show worked is because it used and parodied the variety show format, which was all over the place in the 70s and early 80s. If you were to do that now, yeah, nostalgia would carry it for a while, but then what?
