Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

They could still build it at the Kids Zone area in the Studios. That was the original plans which they had submitted to the City of Orlando for permits.

Politics 28000 Layoffs coming to Disney's domestic theme parks - statement from Josh D'Amaro

Universal is packing the gate only on the weekend. That is because of locals who bought the deeply discounted park pass that is good until December 24th. During the weekdays most attractions are walk on to about 20 minutes. I would actually make the case Disney is busier doing the weekday than...

Do you think that Disney world will reclose its gates due to the rising number of COVID cases in Florida and around the country?

ifFlo If Florida opens back up the bars and throws open brick and mortor schools over the next few weeks we will look back at these types of numbers as the good old days by November. This will cause more damage to the travel industry and the state’s economy. I hope I am very wrong but the...

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

While I agree that Orlando’s economy is going to take a beating from this its much more diverse than you give it credit for. It’s a major player in the air and space industry, medical industry, video game industry and has a large university structure. I would also say that Orlando’s crime rate...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion (Now with optimism!)

Easily 60% of the guest were not wearing face mask while walking around. Social distancing in show venues and lines was not being enforced and we even saw some employees wearing their mask as neck bands. The Waterpark is not enforcing social distancing in the lines which is about all you can do...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion (Now with optimism!)

After spending 1 hour at SeaWorld, there is no way the park and waterpark are not hot spots for virus spread.

Construction restarted at Walt Disney World Resort - What is Actually still on

For what it’s worth, there are workers inside the structure as well. Not just the outside scaffolding.

Work has not restarted on this project yet.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I wouldn’t bet on that, at least in the beginning.

News Walt Disney World's COVID-19 reopening plans announced - July 11

I think you are right. The true depth of the economic recession will set in after the first rush of fans and passholders slow down. If the virus respikes in the fall all bets are off.

    Volcano Bay

I really would like to see this park add a new raft water coaster like Mammoth at Holiday World. Maybe even give it a dark ride section like some of the family raft slides at Water World in Denver.

Margaritaville Orlando Resort - $750 Million Entertainment Complex

Social distancing isn’t going well on reopening day for them.

    Volcano Bay

Glad to hear that. It’s was basically just taking up space in the park with its current restrictions.

Margaritaville Orlando Resort - $750 Million Entertainment Complex

I think this Waterpark would be a great buy by Six Flags. Add another slide tower and a coaster and they could get a foot in the Orlando market without much cost.

Margaritaville Orlando Resort - $750 Million Entertainment Complex

We have heard Island H2O will reopen on Memorial Day weekend. We have also seen an increase in staff activity at the park this week.

    Opening date changed?

I have heard that Disney might try to open a water park before a theme park? I have heard a few reports that highly chlorinated water is tough on the virus. Anyone else hear anything along this line?
