How do you rank the lands in Magic Kingdom, and what is the best land? (poll)

Liberty Square! No spinner, no coaster. Almost the same as when it opened. Muppets are the only real IP disaster, but Muppets are always a good disaster. Food is good. Shops are more unique than most places. Love the riverboat!

Moving to Orlando in October- What should I go experience?

Wekiva/Rock Springs. Like Disney Springs only real and you can swim.

News 'Awesome Planet' coming to The Land pavilion

I’m torn. On the one hand it sounds like a great fit for The Land. On the other hand I see CGI Soarin’, CGI Coaster in a Box, CGI Space Restaurant; are we gonna get CGI Canada and CGI China? Illuminations:CGI? There is beauty in reality, I hope they find a happy medium.

    Extinct attractions

Gimme back my Tomorrow! If You Had Wings, Flight To The Moon, and America The Beautiful. While you are at it rebuild those Entrance Fountains and the Waterfall. Then refurb Carousel of Progress back to the ride it was when when they installed it in Florida. Keep Space Mountain if you have too...

News Walt Disney World theme park ticket price increases go into effect March 12 2019

Prices are harder for a family larger than three or four to justify. If my wife and only had one child, I have no doubt WDW trips would be more common. I suspect that we would spend more money in the parks and stay on property. It looks like they are trying to figure out how to get blood from...

What Is Your Favorite Ride And/Or Attraction ❓

Any in park transportation. There is nothing quite like riding up Main Street USA in a horse drawn anything or chugging briskly across World Showcase Lagoon on a Friendship Boat. My fave is of course the WDW Railroad. Between MS Vehicles, the Skyway, and the Railroad, the old Magic Kingdom...

How is the opening of Galaxy's Edge affecting your plans?

Wife and I were talking Florida August 17 to 30 and I was thinking maybe go for a few days to take advantage of Canadian resident discount. ( must purchase by March 15th) We aren’t interested in Studios even with Star Wars. Wondering if the chance of soft openings might draw people away from...

Just for fun.... You have the chance to work any job in WDW, what would you like to do??

Not a cheap shot at all! I drive a bus route (not at Disney of course) and I know tons of stuff about the communities along my route. I certainly maintain a professional attitude and do not spread rumours. Doesn’t mean I don’t know everything. Being a bus driver at WDW would be challenging. It...

Just for fun.... You have the chance to work any job in WDW, what would you like to do??

I wanna be a bus driver... then I would know the status of everything. 😁

How do you rank the lands in Animal Kingdom, and what is the best land? (poll)

I voted for Harambe Village because my kids just had such a blast there . Anandapur is gorgeous but it’s lacking something I can’t put my finger on compared to Harambe. I’ve got to say though that Dinoland does a much better job than the circus area off Fantasyland at being what it is. It’s fun...

    Possible Frontierland expansion

But they don’t Do theme anymore... just 3D frames for Instagram.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

Why is it called a gravity building? I suppose I’m going to find out that’s a dumb question, but I have to ask. Roller coaster term or something to do with this specific project? Also, I took the time this week to check out the movies. The first Marvel movies i’ve watched except for the first...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I was there frequently in ‘72, ‘73, and ‘74. Age 10 to 12. I was excited for space mountain and disappointed when we moved just before it opened. Went back in ‘78 and finally got to ride. I really enjoyed it. It was satisfying to ride something I had been so excited for. It also changed the...

    Well Illuminations this is it

Saw it with my wife to be in 2009, took our 3 kids back this past November and it turned out that ROE was the only night time show we caught. It will forever be what our kids think of as Disney fireworks unless we go back. It is also our Saturday Morning Breakfast music.

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

Agreed, looks like potentially a place for kids too young for the three rides in that side of the park to hang in the AC while mom and dad take turns in the single rider lines.

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

Great point. Also will it even be attractive since it won’t be a ride. I wonder if this play pavilion will be seen as a “waste of expensive park time” by the same people who rush from ride to ride now trying to get “the most” out of their day. Interesting to find out who exactly this pavilion...

    EPCOT Poll

Indifferent, but the poll really needs a confused option. Or What The Heck option. I see the entrance concept art and the space restaurant on the one hand and GotG right in between on the other. Frozen in Norway? I mean if you squint hard enough Nemo, Ratatouille and the Three Cabelleros make...

News New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

Why does this mean more to me than the rides you mentioned? It’s because it shows that the powers that be can indeed see the park as a park. I know that most people today see the phrase “theme park” and think “rides based on something that fits a theme”. To me it is the park that carries the...

News Fix the Haunted Mansion Intro Timer

The whole loading operation felt very rushed and pushy in November. There should be more of a sense of trepidation than cast members yelling “Go! Go!” I guess the faster they load the more people can post on Facebook that they rode the Haunted” House “ at Disney World.
