Living With the Land vs Na'vi River Journey

I had a perfect solution if they were to finally build Toontown at DHS. An original ride based on J. Thaddeus Toad becoming Toontown's Fire Chief. Inspired of course by his blink-and-you-miss-it cameo in Who Framed Roger Rabbit Added bonus: Bottom right corner showing Snow White... helping...

Living With the Land vs Na'vi River Journey

Also if they would add more animatronic creatures. The Avatar movie had all sorts of creative things like the six legged horses or the hammerhead rhinoceros. And yet all we get in NRJ is....one singing shaman, a handful of spinny dubstep-lizards, and projections of alien weasels. I don't expect...

Living With the Land vs Na'vi River Journey

Navi River Journey is a waste of time and effort. It's easily the second-worst boat ride at Walt Disney World. The worst boat ride at Disney is of course, riding the ferry back to the TTC and parking lot on the last day of your vacation.

    Horizons vs Mission: Space

Unlike Splash vs. ToT where I simply couldn't vote for one or the other, I have no qualms about voting for Horizons. While some would chalk it up to nostalgia (and I readily admit that nostalgia may play some role in my decision), for me Horizons is superior for these key reasons: 1. It fit...

Splash Mountain vs The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Because ToT is a technologically superior attraction with a lot more moving parts. It's like comparing a P51 Mustang to a Space Shuttle simply because they both have wings.

Splash Mountain vs The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

I believe this is an unfair comparison.

    Fox IP's and WDW

Well... you know... Again: closing Great Movie Ride was a mistake. They should have axed Launch Bay and built MMRR at the ANIMATION COURTYARD, for very obvious reasons. Maybe have the queue go through a mock up of the old animation studio and then you're invited to witness a world premiere...

How long before we start seeing tattoos on Disney CM's?

After reading through the last few pages, I'm not sure how exactly this all got hijacked into discussions of "tolerance" and mentions of the Bible. But my final word is this: there is a time and a place for everything, including tattoos. It's fine to show off ink if you're working as a...

If you look at any CM tattoos, Miss Piggy will punch you in the face.

Imagineers are now a flippin' joke

“Things change” is a sorry excuse for a blatant drop in quality. That’s the same mindset that refused to renew Off Kilter’s contract and give us the tragically/hilariously awful Canadian Lumberjack Show. and we all know how that went...

Imagineers are now a flippin' joke

Seems to me that the TOT television issue would be fixed with a polarized plastic filter over the digital screen. You know, the same stuff they make cheap Foster Grant sunglasses out of. Total cost...maybe $50 per screen.

Masks and Social Distancing Go Away in WDW

Well, their fate is entirely on them. Live by the antivax, die by the antivax.

    Walt Disney World Inside Out

Scott Herriott always came off like a longsuffering dad who couldn’t really enjoy Disney without first making a run to the Mexico Pavilion, if you get my drift. I’m fairly certain that he was slightly intoxicated whenever he was filming.

Masks and Social Distancing Go Away in WDW

That’s where I disagree. I got my shots, so Covid is effectively over for me. I am not my brothers keeper, they can protect themselves.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Was a Mistake

It *could* have been amazing. As it stands now, Busch Gardens Tampa stands head and shoulders above it. In a park dedicated to the theme of wildlife conservation, the two biggest draws are a mythological creature roller coaster and a James Cameron movie about aliens with brainstem/genitalia...

Worst Job at Walt Disney World?

Yes but Walt has been gone for 55 years. Turkey legs and thrill rides are here to stay.

Worst Job at Walt Disney World?

Custodial staff. Think of how many *accidents* happen in a Disney park on a daily basis: urine and feces and vomit and the occasional blood....and how many biohazard latex things-to-prevent-accidents they have to clean from the hotels (and other areas).
