J&J vaccine has just been approved. :)

This afternoon, one of the TV reporters (I can't remember which network), went inside to the meeting. Said that about 40% of the people were wearing masks properly. The other 60% were not wearing masks at all. Hope they've all been vaccinated . . .

Just a quick fyi: It was the computer program designed by the (vendor they hired), for the state's appointment sign-up system. Governor took a lot of heat for this mess. (Anyway, there's a few dedicated vaccine threads down in the politics forum.)

Perhaps, and anyone in an accident like that would be shaken up and not thinking too clearly. (That aside, it's a little odd. For example, if my name is Jane Smith, and an officer asked my name, I wouldn't just say, Jane. I'd say Jane Smith.) Whatever. No biggie, under the circumstances.

That's something I never could understand, actually. Generally speaking, unemployment money is not even close to a regular salary that (many) people earned, when they had a job. (I "think" it's something like 60% of what people made, during the employment before layoffs.) Hence, if a person...

Just wanted to share a general fyi, regarding dry cleaners. MA banned gender-based pricing at dry cleaners back around 2015. Apparently, this is a state by state issue (I think also California implemented the ban as well, around the same timeframe.) I don't know about the laws in any other...

Yesterday, I saw a number of reports about these allegations, on multiple network stations.

Ultimately, what matters are the voters in her state. They are the ones who have the power to determine whether or not she keeps her political appointment, whenever the next election in that area comes up. I'm hoping they choose a different individual to represent their area, at that time.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, that she chose to wear a mask that displayed an inappropriate message. Yet, I am disappointed that it (appears) as though no one asked the Congresswoman to either turn the mask over to the plain side, or offer her a disposable mask instead? Granted, there are...
