Were there enough vaccines to go around and people to dispense them, I can see this working. As it stands right now, neither is the case in many areas of the country and people are still hurting economically. To tell people they could only get the stimulus if they got the complete vaccine...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

Requiring the COVID test for entering the country will be a good step in the right direction, but lifting a travel ban enacted because of the spread of COVID while those countries are seeing a surge in COVID feels like they're jumping the gun a bit. Additionally, we've already seen people...

At least he is a legit snow-bird resident. I don't have a problem with them vaccinating the residents. I do take issue when they honor international vaccination tourism with their policies.

It isn't as question of safety, but of timing of the vaccine in relation to the medication he takes and how it can impact the effectiveness of the vaccine in this population. Here is an article for those interested.

Good luck to you! I hope you can find a site near you. I just learned of a study being conducted by Wash U in St. Louis that is looking at how immunosuppressed people on a certain drug respond to the vaccine. DH happens to be on that very drug so I wrote them this afternoon in the hope that...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

Yep, that was the report I was referencing. 😿 I find myself being hopeful that WDW is doing everything they can when I read reports and see pictures of super-slow days, but then the weekend rolls around and we get a more realistic idea of what 35% (or 40%) capacity looks like in practice...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

Looking at some pictures posted from yesterday and the included report (from another well-known site), it sounds like crowds yesterday were at a "normal" level for this time of year. If that is the case, it seems to me that WDW really should be opening more venues (food and otherwise) to...

I'm one of the fortunate wives that has a husband that recognizes a lot of the things I do and is willing to pitch in on some things without my having to ask. I know of at least a few other couples in similar relationships, but I know vastly more who have wildly unbalanced domestic roles. In...

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opening reports and using Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

So I realize that 13 seconds is still super-fast, but it is a little longer than before and led my overly- optimistic brain to think maybe we could get a BG on our first scheduled HS day, then I can rearrange the rest of the week without that hanging over my head. .... Then the more logical...

So if FL's numbers are increasing so rapidly, I wonder if there is any chance WDW pulls back their capacity cap? They've milked the Holiday Season for all they can and the next chance of coming close to current capacity won't be until Spring Break/Easter. PR could go either way imo, but seems...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

I would point out that in October kids' schools were still in session. Most schools were still on break up until 1/5 and I would imagine many parents don't mind taking their kids back a few days late, especially this year. jm2c

Strongly Considering a Trip to WDW: Please Help me plan or talk me out of it

I tried to read all 18 pages to this point, but my eyes glazed over a bit after page 5 and I scanned from then on, so I apologize if any of this has been stated before.... Park Hopper: Probably not something you'll use (we only have when we've had dinner reservations at another park than we've...

Rumor 40% Capacity Soon? What if I Told You That We’re Already There

IMO, increasing capacity is less concerning to me than the fact that while doing so they have not opened attractions/eateries to offset the increased crowds. Right now, you're trying to shove a few more THOUSAND people into the same space that was available before. I'm beginning to lose...

I understand and agree COMPLETELY I'm have an associates as an OTA and worked for years in that field, in addition to a BS in Psychology (and we all know what that's worth, but it was only two classes more to get the degree at that point). Now? With what they pay and the productivity...
