    Rumor Selfies with Mando

Seems like the idea that Galaxy’s Edge is fixed in time to a specific point between The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker is becoming discretionary within WDI?

News Disney updates its legendary Four Keys model to include a fifth key

My earlier posts have been moved by I wanted to thank @_caleb for his sincerity and ability to converse meaningfully. We may approach some of these issues from different perspectives but I appreciate the gracious way he engaged me. We could all use a bit more grace with one another!

News Disney updates its legendary Four Keys model to include a fifth key

I haven’t rode Splash in decades and don’t have any personal nostalgia for the ride, but it’s a favorite of many and hate to see it go away for that reason. It hasn’t affected my vacations in the slightest. But, I think it’s wildly hypocritical of a company to do things like this, while turning...

News Disney updates its legendary Four Keys model to include a fifth key

Except when it results in negative changes to more than half a dozen beloved rides and attractions, and diminishing menu options so as to be inclusive to those that choose to be vegan. You’re right, absolutely no affect at all.

News Disney updates its legendary Four Keys model to include a fifth key

This new key for “cultural transformation” makes a lot of sense when you consider TWDC’s association with the PRC. Under the PRC and the folks Disney thanked in the Mulan credits, the Uighur culture is being transformed to nonexistence.

Reservation system here to stay? Update from Josh D'Amaro

Speaking of Josh... did anyone else find the rest of the presentation yesterday (from what’s been gleaned from reports) a little odd? I feel like there had been some behind-the-scenes cajoling by Disney to get Disneyland opened again. It seems that’s been unsuccessful so this amounted to a...

News ESPN plans to move college basketball events to ESPN Wide World of Sports

It looks like these are those preseason invitationals they have. Usually a few days, maybe a week tops. Often over holidays (Thanksgiving to early December)

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Weird they went with Stephen Colbert (CBS) and not their own in-company late night host Jimmy Kimmel, but understandable given Kimmel’s history of misogynistic comedy and blackface routines.

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

I don't want to diminish the talents and abilities of the younger Bouza, who seems quite accomplished at her age. Perhaps she's part of the production side of things? But the other WDI'ers have each tagged both a Muppet and colleague, and Bouza tapped in her daughter. Maybe we're reading too...

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Or, something that's been in the works but under wraps for awhile, or, a reskin/revamp of an existing attraction that's been rumored (Hall of Presidents, Muppetvision)

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Bob Weis also tagged in Barbara Bouza, president of WDI.

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Hm.. The ride starting with a top-tier Kermit animatronic belting out "Rainbow Connection" ?

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Yes. I get that. But Weis and Rohde are decidedly WDI, so unless their charter has expanded to cover non-attractions, I think this is hinting at one? Those names carry a cache within the die-hard parks community, but not sure it reaches beyond that.

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. But I feel like everything else at EPCOT not underway had paused? Like, Poppins, Spaceship Earth refurbishment and a few other things that had been announced have all but been memory-holed, whereas GOTG ride and Ratatouille have been confirmed. It would...

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Some speculation this may have to do with a Muppet Great Movie Ride. Hmmm. Fantastic idea. If only they had a massive stage with existing infrastructure/ride mechanism that could take guests through various movie scenes.

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

Ouch. You’re over target on this one. Harsh but true.

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

For some reason this post makes me think there should be an Assassins Creed: EPCOT. Ezio portions could take place in WS, and Desmond in CommuniCore.

On layoffs, very bad attendance, and Iger's legacy being one of disgrace

As my username suggests, I am quite fond of the halcyon days of EPCOT. It’s clear rewatching old footage, and seeing what’s there now, that they never future-proofed Future World. I don’t know that the edutainment concept is as fatally flawed as some suggest. As one who has been to so many good...

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Since Disney keeps choosing to shoehorn the Muppets into the latest trends (The Office-inspired sitcom, YouTuber type series, etc) I’m surprised they haven’t renamed him Kermit Thee Frog.
