News Remy's Ratatouille Adventure coming to Epcot

I have mixed feelings on the BatB ride. It's nice for what it is and the finale looks amazing, but it felt rushed to me, which is an issue with most recent storytelling rides, they all seem to have pacing issues anymore. It's beautiful, but a tad repetitive IMHO. It's like at first I'm...

News Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon to remain closed until March 2021

Do the waterparks operate at a loss? Seems odd to me since other water parks successfully operate and make profit, at least enough to stay operating. Even H2OLive reopened. If Disney isn't making money from the water parks, they're doing something wrong given that they barely have invested...

Liam Neeson 'Very Proud' of The Phantom Menace, Blames Criticism for Hurting Jar Jar Actor's Career

When you listen to people's complaints, Liam Neeson's performance isn't usually one of them. He did a great job, as always. I also agree that Jar Jar's issues shouldn't be linked to his actor. That's silly, IMO. The direction as a whole was a problem in the prequel trilogy.

It was called a bugs life

I think almost all of us look forward to enjoying Disney World without a mask again. I know that I do. We'll get there too. Unfortunately, getting case numbers way down has to happen, preferably to zero. That requires everyone being responsible and doing their part. This behavior does not...

    Magic Kingdom 50th Anniversary Plans

FWIW, Harmonious was originally supposed to debut this year. Just guessing, since this year has put a lot into question, but it'd be something great to kick off the summer next year, pandemic-permitting.

    US Cinemas Are Reopening Slowly.

They could always do both. Release it in theaters first and then as soon as allowed, D+. If they work a Universal-like deal with AMC, I believe it's only 3 weeks, which would allow Disney box office gross, plus BW in Disney+ by Christmas. Could prove to be a genius move, IMO.

News Disney confirms multiple EPCOT projects are paused

Like you mentioned, they probably don't want to retheme it again, yet, when other areas need more attention. Really though, it's still a pretty decent guest spending area too from carnival games to beer sales. Almost any other IP would struggle to get similar guest spending in that area...

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

Like I mentioned in another thread @_caleb earned my respect. Has a heart for harding work CM's too. I respect that. I've actually enjoyed the discussion. Did you see that in the article? I know the reporter reached out to the unions, I didn't see the CM's say that. That would be the right...

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

You're not wrong, but I don't consider it real news when they do it. I usually roll my eyes when I see it. Especially when they use Twitter or something and say "Disney fans". Mainstream media is guilty of this too. It's all about advertisement revenue anymore. Pumping out "story" after...

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

I agree. At what point do news agencies start taking comments here and start saying "Disney fans reveal the company...". It doesn't just need to be texts. By this standard, you could make news from anything, IMO. I think it's pretty common knowledge that some people are afraid to return to...

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

That is a fact. I never said why it closed, just that it closed. Regardless, Disney doesn't need to reopen and reclose parks. Once Disneyland opens, they need to do what they can to keep it open.

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

I think everyone has their own definition of what is considered "good". Just speaking personally, but I want the truth and only the truth. So, I would prefer the bullet points. To each their own though, I'm glad that you like it.

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

See, that's why I don't like this piece. The writer of the article tries to fill in the blanks and someone gave it a click bait title that the CM's only seem to insinuate, but don't directly say (covering up) , and with no proof other than "watercooler chat" texts between seemingly well...

News Holidays 2020 at Walt Disney World

I was expecting something like that, but they did not confirm those things along with the other stuff. It would be a nice touch though and they could easily announce them later on. Today's announcement is more in line with the Dream Lights installation since they would have to get started...

News Holidays 2020 at Walt Disney World

I'm sad about the dreamlights, but at least we will have some after dark festive atmosphere. Not much mentioned for DHS, but Disney probably didn't want the park to have much more incentive for demand than it already does. I would love to see "snow" in the parks, in addition to DS. Here's...

    Whoopimecalit Forever? Thankfully no...

Very true. I tip my hat to you, I disagree with some stuff, but you have my respect. Twitter is much more hostile if you get involved in the wrong conversation. I still have my old account, but I mostly use it when I'm trying to get quick customer service. 😂 I never thought about that...

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

I'm a Disney fan, but apologist? If I see something credible, I will be happy to criticize, as I have done many times since I joined WDWMagic nearly two decades ago. The real issue is that this is weak sauce from a biased and agenda driven individual. No actual revealing, just speculation.

Daily Beast - "Workers Reveal Disney Is Covering Up Its COVID Cases"

I'm not going to get into the reputation of The Daily Beast, I'm talking about this "news" article. They're reporting about the news story that they want to report about with a bunch of weak sauce. The reporter has a mission and seem upset that they couldn't accomplish it yet, it's more of a...
