    Yep. I collected the flags.

Any Bets on What Comes After Galaxy's Edge?

The answer to the titular query is a huge empty void that is a seemingly endless expanse of blackness beyond the realm of human comprehension. This emptiness comprises most of the known universe. Here we sit in the unfashionable western spiral arm wondering what it all means. Truly, to peer...

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

Interesting thread. I always assumed Splash Mountain had to do with that movie that came out when I was a teenager. I just figured the rabbit was a terribly designed mermaid animatronic.

    Minnie Vans Gone For Good?

Thank the gods. I was worried when I saw this thread title. To alleviate all worries, my fleet of 60 red vans with white polka dots was obtained honorably and is wholly unrelated to Disney’s so called Minnie van fleet.

Do you think that Disney world will reclose its gates due to the rising number of COVID cases in Florida and around the country?

Remember all the issues they had with banning “naughty fun time” on all the defunct, long, languid EPCOT dark rides causing the gonorrhea epidemic to go unchecked? There’s a lesson there. Follow the rules if you don’t want to have the whole WDW experience changed. I’m guessing they may resort to...

Should certain groups be given priority to attend the parks?

One option was missing. Just me. I’ve gotten used to jet packing in and out of the parks. I’ve even designed a long rod to hit the stop button after I’ve had my fill of Triceratops Spin. I usually ride for 5 or 6 hours straight. The music on that ride is the soundtrack of my life.

News Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Holy crap. We’re talking about a virus! I saw it started with a c and assumed we were talking about the clap or chlamydia or something. I have to admit the 6 feet of social distancing seemed a little intimidating so to speak.

I thought my Dixie Landings mug was free refills for life, but the fine folk at our local Stop N Go tasered me the 78th time I came in for a free refill. Advertised claims should reflect reality folks!

How much of Disney World has to be open for you to go?

In all honesty, if Triceratops Spin is open and I can close my eyes and soar over the Cretaceous landscape on the hollowed out back of a triceratops as my hominid ancestors did 2.375 billion years, 3 months, and 5 days ago, I'll be a happy camper.

How much of Disney World has to be open for you to go?

Thanks to jet pack technology I’ve been able to enjoy the low crowds. Once the weirdos are back, I’m gone.

News Man caught camping on Discovery Island...

I dunno. Based on the yelp reviews I read based on a recent camping excursion, the place is a "tropical paradise".

Voyage of the Little Mermaid is done, won't reopen with the parks.

How about a platter of fresh beignets? TBH, I'd be really happy with the gumbo. With etouffee. With jambalaya. With red beans and rice. bananas foster. Mufaletta. Po boys. Wait. Princess and the Frog dinner theater (due to popularity there would also be seating at lunch time). Think 11, 1, 4, 6...

Voyage of the Little Mermaid is done, won't reopen with the parks.

This was a favorite of my daughter's and thus a must do for the whole family for the last decade. Lots of sadness when I shared this news. Luckily, they opened that terrible Cars thing just in time to fill the void.
