Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

The question is, can they keep it all moving? Having this much animation is ambitious, but possibly also a maintenance nightmare.

Universal Studios: ‘Bourne Stuntacular’ to open in spring of 2020

I'd love to know what sort of ride you expect them to squeeze into this "prime location." Without screens, since you hate those so much. This building is only slightly larger than Despicable Me's.

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

2020 just gets better and better. Unbelievable.

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

I already knew all this. It still doesn't explain the sudden change in aesthetic unless there's a full retheme coming. It'll be even worse if they start including stronger elements of JW, like Chris Pratt, or even the JW name itself, but only in certain parts of the land.

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

I still don't understand where they're going with giving both the Raptor Encounter and this a Jurassic World aesthetic. It makes no sense unless they're going to fast track a switchover for the rest of the land as well. JP and JW can't just overlap. They exist at different times in the canon...

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

Yes, rides can't break theme if there is none to begin with -- I'm just not sure how that argument applies to Velocicoaster, which has a theme, and yes, even on-ride theming. It will supposedly have an entire show scene or two. And even if it didn't, a roller coaster in Jurassic Park doesn't...

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

Galaxy's Edge did the exact same thing. That is the unfortunate nature of extended queues. I've watched several videos of Tron and I've yet to see anything I'd call "storytelling." Just some neon video screens in darkness (and a section that goes outside, utterly breaking the ride's own theme...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

Evidently, but I distinctly remember certain insiders saying we would be the only ones getting DK. Zelda and Pokemon were never part of this newer plan for the land. They supposedly want to build those elsewhere, although I don't know if they're still even being considered. They've been saying...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

What happened to this being an Orlando exclusive? 🤔 Looks like Japan is getting everything we are, long before we do.

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

I don't know, maybe there's some global crisis or something that's keeping them from announcing a firm opening date (or even holding an Olympics.) But I'm just theorizing here.

    Forbidden Journey New Locker

I don't have any faith they'll do this correctly.

    Forbidden Journey New Locker

Ugh... I can't believe they're putting lockers right there. Now there's literally no thematic separation between JP and Hogwarts. They couldn't at least build something much taller to block the view? Is this still a THEME park?

Universal's Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex Opens 2023)

I could see them trying to use that to their advantage, but I very much doubt that was the impetus for the park's compartmentalized design. Personally, I'd love to see them STOP renting the parks out to such groups. They shouldn't be allowed to buy that experience at the expense of other guests...

Universal's Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex Opens 2023)

They never said anything about the design changing. And Universal is a theme park resort. The vast majority of its guests are NOT there on business.

Jurassic Park Rollercoaster Coming To Universals Islands Of Adventure?

Someone didn't think this through. :banghead: Not only will there be a coaster towering over Hogsmeade, they might also have to put netting up above the bridge if the coaster is going over it.
