There's absolutely no guarantee (key word here is guarantee) that a safe and effective vaccine will be created in 2020. It's literally impossible to know right now if it's even possible. Imagine thinking you have a safe vaccine that ends up having dire side effects that end up causing more harm...
Not a major surprise given the current climate. But, I do envision this as more of an "on hold indefinitely" rather than completely killed off as it should be relatively easy to revisit the idea and its already developed concepts in the future when things settle down.
Love the Champions League! It's such a fun tournament that doesn't really compare to anything in the United States. Hala Madrid!
Of course, it was also sad to see scientists suggesting the one Champions League game may be responsible for some of the outbreaks in Spain and Italy.
We shall see. Early studies are pointing a finger at one major sporting event as a big reason behind some of the spread. Time will tell, but it doesn't look great.
