It looks like Epcot is going back to the 9pm closing time starting July 18th. Park reduces one hour. Currently Epcot closes at 10 pm
looks like they a trimming all parks and hour.

It's more likely that they are once again posting the "minimum" hours and will extend it as the dates get closer.
With Food and Wine just starting, it's not like late July will have lower crowds than early June.
Note Animal Kingdom is also posting hours only until 6pm. Do we really believe Animal Kingdom hours in May are longer than hours in July?

So I'm fairly confident Epcot hours will get extended, either with an additional hour in the morning or at night.

9 to 9 is the standard and normal operating hours for Epcot except during peak periods or weekends during festivals, so I'm not sure that this is terribly extraordinary.

But 11-9 would be a pretty big change from 9-9 -- Park only being open for 10 hours.

And 10/11pm has been the new normal.

WDW hours are notoriously unreliable months out. If full F&W is going expect 10PM closings, at least on the weekends.

No. The hours for the second week of July were 11 to 10(2 and 1/2 months out). Why reduce them for the very next week?

But those hours were 11-9 a couple weeks ago, then they adjusted it last week. And 3-4 weeks ago, all the extended hours were only 11-9, but then they went in an switched a bunch of them more recently.

They recently did this with late June to early July hours and then added the last hour back a week later. They also cut DHS and DAK back by an hour which has not changed yet.

Buses are an issue right now.

Beyond buses, they might actually like having the later opening and closing times for Epcot. With so few attractions operating, it’s not really a rope drop morning park.
It’s more focused on festivals and restaurants.

Food and Wine should be more popular at 9:30 pm than 9:30 am.
