I don’t think we’re on the same page here. Why does it matter how you get out of the hotel? Someone asked if they could leave and you said “there’s no way out save emergency exits”. I’m clearly missing something. I could break the “immersion” by wearing Minnie Ears and a WDW tee shirt.

Wearing a shirt or ears is a different form of breaking the illusion than opening a door that leads out to a parking and sunshine in plain view of other guests.

I really don't get this concept at all...sure I like Star Wars, do I want to live in Star Wars?? ummmm no. This is such a silly, novelty concept that'll be as popular as NBA Experience. A better concept is to a develop Galactic Starcruisers that can pick me up at the airport and take me to my $500/night hotel room so I don't have to pay for a Uber or Lyft .

It isn't a massive resort. It is very small by Disney standards. It is meant to fill a niche, not cater to every guest on property. If it does really well they will undoubtedly make similar experiences with a larger capacity.

The Star Wars hotel is not a hotel. It's an experience with sleeping quarters.
The rooms are the same size as a cruise liner. So, if you think of these rooms are too small, then you certainly do not want to go on a cruise unless you pay a lot more for a suite.

Cruise ships also have pools, water slides, zip lines, golf, casinos and all you care to eat buffets and PLENTY OF DRINKING!
Star Wars hotel is just two days and will have several large 'gaming rooms' for what people are supposed to be showing up for (and not pools or golf), not to mention at least one excursion to Batuu.
There will be a simulated casino, plenty of food, and DRINKING.

You are signing up for a multi day activity- not a vacation resort.

This experience has Black Spire.
The trouble is the hotel concept and the inevitable comparisons.
It's better to think of it as an excursion, or even an extended ride that you get to sleep on.

I doesn't need to appeal to that many people relatively speaking. Based on what we know about the hotel so far, if it was running at capacity that would be around 73,000 guests per year. Compare that to Magic Kingdom which got around 21 million visitors in 2019.

and if the guests decide to park hop that day to magic kingdom is there a shuttle that makes them think they returned to earth so they can ride a ferry?? god this whole "you are in space for real" is sooo stupid. just build a star wars theme hotels then you dont need special shuttles and roads.
