Expect plexiglass to be added to a few more rides as well shortly.

Ironically the 1 ride the Disney company had that was already set for this situation was removed a long time ago...

Have there been any modifications to the interrogation rooms? Honestly, those seem to the smallest spaces in the attraction. When I rode 2 months ago, there were just 3 of us in a room. I was told to go all the way to the back of the room, and we were all still probably just 6 feet from each other. With new plexi on the ride vehicles, potentially they can fully load the RV which would have to mean a 'fully loaded' interrogation room of 16 people across 4 parties... There's simply no way that works in those rooms, right? Maybe they are bigger then they seem?
There are now 4 group per interrogation room.

Seems like they got rid of the color’d lines on the floor, instead just a grayish circle with an outline of one of the old colors. Inside the interrogation room, same floor markings as well.

One loss with this change is that First Order officers can no longer tell you to stand on the line if you weren’t originally. There’s a loss of potential interaction here, which is sad to see..

You can see the new loading process (after breaking out of interrogation rooms) here. The Resistance CM will call out the colors of one of RVs first, in this case blue and red, and board those two parties. Then the other two colors will be called and followed shortly behind. There’s sorta a loss of “urgency” here now, but it’s understandable given the circumstances.

Side note; cannons haven’t been working/in A-mode for almost the past month. Also the livestream linked above captures a live breakdown at the cannon room.

So they’ve done it? This was tested in early July.

It wouldn't make people happy, but there is another way to increase capacity along with changing the boarding groups, limit the amount of times that a guest can get a boarding group.

For people with resort reservations, limit them to 2 boarding group reservations per entire stay at the resort.

For annual passholders limit them to no more than one boarding group per week even if they secure more than one reservation within the same week.

Yeah it won't make people happy, but it will allow more different people to experience the attraction.

I've thought about this too, but I'm not confident it would have that much of an impact.

How many guests staying on property actually score more than 2 boarding groups per resort stay, much less visit HS 2 or more days? More than 2 days at HS w/out parkhopping seems excessive, imo, especially in this time when the entertainment is scaled so far back. For the AP holders I can see doing that but again, how many of them actually GO to HS more than once/wk, much less manage to score a BG once they're there?

That would not be limited enough to make an impact. Heck, make it once per month for AP’s and once a week for resort guests and I still don’t think it’s be enough.

If they cared about guest experience, they could increase capacity on a 9 hour day by over 20% just by adding a couple hours. They could extend boarding groups a couple hours past park close and close everything else. That costs money though and money trumps guest experience.
