Has this AA always been there? For some reason, I can't recall.
It’s always been there, but it’s hard to take your eyes off this beauty.

FYI, my mom forgot to remove her hat and now it most likely sits at the bottom of the tracks, lol

Too bad, maybe she'll have to go shopping, like you! :bored: :jawdrop: 😍

We said hi to Oswald before heading out

This is so cool! I never knew about it before! Nor did I know about the construction worker who died on Pirates, but I can see why the CM's would be so confused on that one.

....listen for the screams of joy and also of complete anguish as people do (or do not) get a RoTR boarding pass at 10 am.

I'm sure the collective shriek / anguish is much more subdued than it was at 7 am with the masses pre-COVID.

They're really pushing hard for mobile ordering only and in galaxies Edge my phone would crash on the app every time I tried to order a beer. I get the need for less contact into space orders out but it's frustrating after three attempts when you could literally just walk up and give them cash or your card and be gone and much less time than I wasted for five minutes trying to get the app to work

I see why they are doing it, but I'm apt to have mobile frustrations, too so I do wish I could just go to the counter when the mobile app doesn't work.

She insists that I at least smell fancy considering I'm wearing white tees and flip flops LOL. One of my nicer watches will suffice in lieu of cologne but I prefer not to wear those at Disney World.

NICE! :inlove::geek:

I went to the restroom and as I walked back to the table I spotted Tom Corless.

Forgive me, I am a novice. Who is he? A podcaster, I assume?

Crowd level was rising...

WOW! I'm surprised Disney let that many people in! How were the lines at this point?

It’s always been there, but it’s hard to take your eyes off this beauty

Agreed! I thought I recognized the dude but I vividly remember the lady.

Back at Epcot and hit up France for a 1664.

World Show is definitely different without it's cultural representatives from the countries. It's easy to dismiss those tiny details of an accent or getting a "you're welcome" in a different language.

The weather was great. Lots of cloud cover and lower temps. Fat Guy in A Little Coat was happy.

We headed to The Land for Soarin.

IMG_20200907_193932983.jpg

Then over to Imagination.

Next we went to see the three happy chappies, With snappy serapes!

It was 9 pm when exited the ride and the park was closing so we strolled around world showcase back towards BWV.

I stopped by Leaping Libations , the pool
Bar and relaxed outside with the nice weather and Sweetwater 420 before heading up to the room.

Good morning from MK!

Smiling with my eyes

IMG_20200908_092653381.jpg

And today from the, " tales of things you hear people say at Disney",

As I strolled down Main Street I legit just heard a grown woman ask her family, "are there any rides here?". A woman in her group looked right at her and said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!". I was cracking up.

What type of battery does that shirt use? Lithium? How long till you need to charge it again?

This is a very astute observation my friend - I think I would miss it too
I speak a little Japanese and enjoy practicing when at the WS pavilion

Loving the report - hope you finish it

Yes, this might be what I miss the most on our upcoming trip. I do love hearing other accents and talking to people about their countries in EPCOT.

This is legendary! Hope her family never lets her live it down! :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :geek: :geek:

Today was a whirlwind of activity, hence the late post.

After the epic "are there rides here" comment , I had made a mad dash to Sleepy Hollow because C (my wife) wanted the Madam Leota collectors cup. We had arrived at MK by rope drop but Minor had left her magic band in the Lyft we took so we had to visit GR which ended up getting us in the park at 9:20. By the time I reached Sleepy Hollow, the line was stretching past the castle. The CM said it was about a 2 hour wait!

I called C back home and even took a video to show her the insane line and she told me not to worry about it. I know she really wanted it to use as a Halloween decoration, not to resell on eBay for some whack-a-doodle price and I was upset because of Minor hadn't left her band in the Lyft I would have been there right after rope drop. I wasn't upset with Minor. Sh*t happens and these were for real first world problems.

Minor could see I was frustrated and apologized for causing the delay and I told her it was just a cup and not to worry about it. She really is the sweetest niece a guy could ask for. She never asks for anything when we visit WDW. She just wants to ride rides and make her videos.

We hit Peter Pan first (I didn't take pics) and then over to HM. I was close enough to get a lic this beauty.

Next we headed to Frontierland and crowds were still low, or everybody was waiting in line to get a Madam Leota cup.

Next up was Pirates and we got to witness the boats being cleaned and again the CM was just walking all over the area he had just sprayed. And he did a shoddy job at best. Not blaming him as I don't expect Disney CM's to be trained on proper execution of disinfecting ride vehicles. I'm sure they just get told what to do. But they should at least be told not to step all over the area they just sprayed.

Splash had been closed but we had a feeling it would open soon since we saw the logs being cycled through. We went back and rode BTMRR again to kill some time. It was appx 10 minute wait

IMG_20200908_113645892.jpg

When we exited, Splash was opening so we headed to the Briar Patch!

The dhole whip picture didn't show up in my last post, so here it is

IMG_20200908_124326833_HDR.jpg

mom and C went hit a few attractions while I went on a mission. I caught some cavilcade action on my endeavor.

IMG_20200908_132528041.jpg

After bouncing around a few spots I completed my quest and met back up with the girls. (I'll be more specific about what I was doing in just a bit).

IMG_20200908_140015725_HDR.jpg

Minor and I headed over to Space Mtn since the wait was very low. This pic is for the mask police.

IMG_20200908_145251126.jpg

We hit up buzz and then 7DMT and then back.over to finish off with CoP

IMG_20200908_155528466.jpg

Dark clouds were looking over and forecast called for storms until 7 pm so we headed out.

Some characters came out as we were headed out.

IMG_20200908_161111413.jpg

IMG_20200908_161117485.jpg

They put on a good show interacting with guests. Especially Gaston. I think Disney has done a great job with keeping the characters involved even tho there are no meet and greets and with all the crazy rules in place. The random calvalcades and character pop ups have really been fun.

Our timing to leave was near perfect. It started pouring right as we left. We hopped on the monorail for lunch over at Contempo Cafe.

IMG_20200908_161728017.jpg

Mom got the turkey sandwich which was quite impressive.

IMG_20200908_163819177.jpg

Minor got the kids burger. Nothing to write home about, lol

IMG_20200908_163800084.jpg

It was very enjoyable with the monorails passing by and the sounds of pouring rain against the glass ceiling. We took a Lyft back to BW to avoid getting caught in the rain at the bust stop or having to wait since most people were probly leaving the park.

Back to my mission I was on at MK. I really wanted to surprise C with the Madam Leota cup so I made it a goal. I wasn't aware that there are also the three Hitchhiking Ghosts that go with it and they are each only available at a certain location. One is at the popcorn stand near the Liberty Bell and the other two are at Pecos Bill.

Shortly after, I had collected them all! I couldn't get a picture because they were on bags and I didn't want to fumble around with them untile we got back.

IMG_20200908_191904896.jpg

We made a fun little reveal video and sent it to C. She was VERY excited as she had assumed she wasn't getting the Leota cup and didn't know about the Hitchhiking Ghosts so it was a nice bonus.

The girls hit the pool and went over to Ale and Compass lounge at YC. It's the closest thing to Crews Cup burger wise. I was on the phone with C while I had a beer and waited on my burger so I didn't take any pics. We have a an RV/Camper and have been planning an outdoors trip for Oct.

IMG_20200908_221408870.jpg

The weather was great on the stroll home and I had a nice buzz because the bartender had a poured the wrong beer for so some and since I was drinking the same one (Jai Alai IPa) she gave it to me for free. Yay!
