Fireworks? Yep, it's happening, but not how you think.

I have signed a few NDAs, nothing I have said on this board is covered by any one of them. I can assure you I am very careful in what I talk about. Anything I say on this forum is either coming really soon, or has already been talked about. The far reaching stuff I will not mention.

Also, you spoke about grains of salt a few days ago. I will leave a salt packet that says "Pro" on it in the hotel next week sometime. It will be in the first floor utility room that is currently used as a makeshift break room. I will put it behind the standpipe in there so hopefully it stays until you get it. Please leave something there for me so I know you were there.
No need. The aerial photos posted on these forums from the days you claimed "design work" was ongoing showed that you were not honest, and there were never any buckets of salt left in the parking lot. If people want to follow you, that's cool, but you lost me when you started saying zany things about being inside the hotel (when illegal) to help pick where speakers and lights go.

Also, there is no "makeshift breakroom" in a utility room (great place to put a break room during construction... you know, literally where the most electrical work would be), Disney construction partners don't allow break rooms inside ongoing, new construction projects, and there's nobody there for there to be a breakroom anyway.

Oh man this is great! Didn't think I'd see the day where theme park "insiders" compete to see who impresses the internet strangers the most.

Just wondering, did an "insider" kill your first-born or something? From observation in recent discussions, your ongoing resentment seems a little... unhealthy. 😬

You need a sunnier outlook on life if you think finding someone hilariously entertaining = resentment.

I don't doubt @WDW Pro or @LiterallyNobody are privy to a level of confidential information, but some of the behavior (not necessarily by these two), which includes potentially risking jobs, on this forum to gain the respect of random people on the internet is so very fun to watch. It reminds me a bit of high school.

Insiders come and go, but egos are forever.

This was not directed at anyone in particular.

This would be such a wonderful gesture by Disney to all those Seniors who definitely deserve a break from what they got in the 2nd half of there final year of high school. I hope this magical moment happens.

I have a lot of inside info from my last 10+ years as a CM but I don't have the desire to share it or even act like a know it all... by doing so you're spoiling the magic and everything behind WDW.

That’s a cool idea for Disney to get involved with. My cousin’s kid graduated this year and her school had a virtual graduation in the parking lot of the Parx Casino (just outside of Philly). They have several large Jumbotron style screens facing the parking lots so the casino let them use them and all the kids and families stayed in their cars. It’s pretty cool to see local businesses help out in little ways to make things at least a little closer to normal.

That's an awesome idea. I used to play poker there when I was in the area for work. Huge parking lot and those screens are big. Now that you posted this seems like an absolute no brainer of an idea. Hope, or something similar in other areas is used again.

Disney Insider or not Disney Insider, it's won't hurt to read something positive coming out of these negative times. I'm a glass-half-full person anyways....

It's late Tuesday... if they're doing this on the sixth, they might want to announce it.

The graduating class of Windermere High School was notified on May 28th, and a link was sent out the next day to request a parking spot on the school grounds for the fireworks. The google form stayed open for about 3 or 4 days until all the spots were filed, and students who got a spot were notified today. They will be checking ID's at the school and only letting in vehicles with students who are on the list. Now how they are going to notify the neighbors of the school, I'm not sure. The fireworks will be live streamed on Facebook, for anyone who wants to watch remotely.

As said before, the Star Wars hotel thing wasn't true, but I hoped this was. Good for Disney.

I’m sure that will go over well with people in Oxford Moor that fought so hard to keep the school from being built. It’s a great thing for Disney to do for WHS. My son graduated from WHS last year and I can’t imagine how it would have felt for it to be cancelled. High school seniors have lost out on so much.
While I’m not 100% sure of the details, I believe the vast majority of the true troublemakers are no longer neighbors of the school; Which is a shame being that the stadium is now in a ridiculous location as a result. They are attempting to get a stadium built back at the school even though they now have less land but this does seem to validate the neighbor concern is no more 😀.

That all said, we are very much looking forward to this and my son was definitely more excited once he heard Disney was involved.
