Still a few crazy scenarios left*:

SEC
#1 Undefeated LSU loses to 1 loss Georgia in the SEC Championship
#2 LSU is the undefeated SEC Champion, AND Auburn beats Georgia, giving the CFP reason to slight Oregon (Oregon's only loss was to Auburn)
#3 Georgia loses a game BEFORE the SEC Championship, then beats LSU

B1G
#1 Undefeated Ohio State loses to Undefeated Minnesota in B1G Championship
#2 Three 1 loss B1G teams...PSU sweeps OSU and Minnesota giving each their only loss
#3 Undefeated Ohio State loses to a 2 loss team in the B1G Championship .....

Big 12
#1 Baylor is undefeated

PAC 12
#1 Oregon destroys Utah in the PAC 12 Championship

*Assumes Clemson is undefeated and Bama does not lose again

They're doing all they can to help Bama by keeping Okie @ #10. It appears Oregon(Baylor could run the table and make it) is the only team that can prevent 2 SEC or even 2 B1G teams getting in.

I don't see Ohio State or LSU dropping out of the Top 4 unless they really blow something or lose twice.....

I just had this conversation with a coworker today. Alabama’s ranking is blatantly and purposely overinflated.

We were talking about the Big10 championship and what if OSU loses to Minnesota (if these are the 2 teams). With Bama’s ranking the committee could then choose them... but it would completely go against any kind of “eye test” or stats. As much hate as OSU gets from the general public, all you have to do is watch that team and look at their stats to see why they’re definitely the best or second best team in the country.

Who are the 4 BEST teams in the country? I can tell you, under ZERO circumstances Oregon or Utah is one of the 4........

1 Loss Teams BETTER than Oregon and Utah:
PSU
Oklahoma
Bama

2 Loss Teams BETTER than Oregon and Utah:
Michigan
Auburn
Florida
Wisconsin
Temped to say that team from Northern Indiana

They are all BETTER than Oregon or Utah......and so is undefeated Minnesota, if they beat Iowa tomorrow, same for Baylor if they beat Oklahoma tomorrow......AND 2 loss Oklahoma would be better than those two

Good game last Saturday night against NC State. Honestly, it might’ve been the best game we’ve played so far this season. No doubt the best 1st half we’ve played so far this season. Offense got off to a fast start and didn’t let up. Both Trevor and Etienne played very well and showed off their dual-threat capabilities. Defense had a big night too and was able to come up with 4 fumble recoveries. Overall, it was a good game and a good win. And with that win, and a WF loss, we were able to clinch the Atlantic division and check off our 2nd goal of the season.

Should be a good one tomorrow afternoon in the Valley. Can’t believe the final home game of the season is already here. Man has time flown by. Will be emotional seeing our seniors play their last game in Death Valley. I know they’re coming off of a tough loss at VT and that their star WR is done for the season, but Wake will be fired up and ready to play. Their offense has looked really good and they’ve been able to put a bunch of points on the board, which is something they haven’t been able to do in years. But we’re gonna be ready to play too. Offense just needs to get off to another fast start and defense just needs to shut Wake down early. Hopefully the seniors will be able to end their Death Valley careers the right way. Just need to stay focused and take care of business.

As much as I hate Bama, I hated seeing Tua get hurt the way he did. Absolutely brutal. Wishing him a successful recovery.

In terms of Satan.....I mean Saban, he can only play the 2 minute drill card for so long. He deserves every bit of harsh criticism that he has/will receive. Due to the fact that they knew that Tua wasn’t 100% going into the game, they should’ve already put the Jones kid in.

So...here's the Top 4 rundown:

LSU
OSU
Clemson

and those fighting for #4.......

Georgia - Have to win out, including beating LSU....if that happens, we could have the dreaded 2 SEC teams in.....
PSU - Win out and you're in....and it could result in OSU being #4
Oklahoma - Win out, LSU undefeated, OSU undefeated and hope the CFP drifts from their historical norm
Oregon - Win out, LSU undefeated, OSU undefeated, Baylor wins Big 12 Championship, and hope the CFP drifts from historical norm
Utah - Same as Oregon
Baylor - Win out + losses by Oregon, Utah, PSU, Georgia, and Bama
Bama - Win out.....after that, the CFP is the CFP

Three big reasons to watch 5-7 tonight :
1) Does Oklahoma pass the PAC 12?
2) Does Utah Pass Oregon?
3) Does Bama hold #5?

Oklahoma’s placement is the BIGGEST deal as that will tell who has the inside track for #4....

Bama MIGHT still be 5 for now as to hold peeps captive and boost ratings....

A less than impressive showing by OSU. They’ll retain 2, but they aren’t are dominant as thought.

You’re being fooled by looking at the final score. You wouldn’t be able to say the same if you watched the game or looked at the stats.

It was OSU’s weakest performance, and their stats still dominated the opposition.
One quarter, a couple of mistakes are what allowed Penn State to score, at no point was PSU ever ahead. Outside of the 3rd quarter they never even had a chance to catch up, and even in that quarter they were answered quickly.
