Trip Report The Tuvalu Chronicles ~ Chapter 25 *COMPLETED*

Welcome, welcome, welcome to my 25th trip report.

Over the past five years, I have loved chronicling my WDW adventures with fellow forum readers who share my Disney passion. Writing keeps the magic alive for me. Discussions that result from your comments are icing on the cake! I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my posts. (And for those of you who have been following from the beginning ~ THANK YOU!!)

All my reports have been live, live-ish, or shortly-afterwards.....except one. In 2016 I wrote a retro TR detailing my first visit to the park that forever captivated my heart. You can read about it here. Or you can merely mock the photo below which is proof positive I cannot pull off wearing a hat.

Similar in style to last summer’s novel, this report will incorporate my June, July and August vacations. The ship has already sailed for a live report for June, but I may attempt some live updates in July/August. Or not. :hilarious:

When: June 8-13, 2019

Did we meet the Wicked Queen? Who got shoved in the Haunted Mansion? Did the rain rain rain come down down down? Was there an attraction evac? Did one of us really cause a ride to shut down?

Answers to come!

(Special thanks to @krisri18 for another trip report title! 💕)

Whew I finally got caught up with your TR!
I absolutely love the fall decorations, too. I think I might even like them a little bit more than Christmas!
So glad you got to ride with Tracey. She and her husband are really nice and fun!
Can you believe we have never rode Winnie the Pooh. ???? But will this coming March:)
When are your next dates? We will be there 2/26/ to 3/7, 20 I think. I'm trying to get the 26th added on, so will see:)

Wednesday, con’t

After our ride on the MPB 2.0 we headed for the hub via the Tomorrowland bridge.

Woody noticed the waterfalls under the Fantasyland bridge were finally working again!

And I noticed this duck for @DisneyGigi.

We’d originally booked The Plaza for lunch but made a last minute switch. We had a few minutes until our new ADR, so we hung out in the Plaza Gardens hoping to get the cool “Where in the World” PP shot but the photographer that was there couldn’t do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This she could do.

Let me be Trip Reporter #5 to include pictures of the new walkway. Because that’s what we Disnerds do.

We decided that since prices for lunch at The Plaza and LTT are now almost the same, we’d rather have more substantial food (not sandwiches) for the money.

I took this picture for the pretty fall garland. (Woody was a bonus.)

I would claim #ShirleyStatus.....

.....except true #ShirleyStatus would not have us at a two-top pressed against the wall!

Service was.....wait for it.....OK. But the food was delicious as usual, affirming LTT as the right choice today.

Pilgrim’s Feast and Pot Roast. Gotta have my 🦃!

No Ooey Gooey though.....I wasn’t feeling it. :jawdrop:

While at lunch I received a message from @Longers confirming they would not be able to meet for our 1 pm BTMRR FP. I was as disappointed as she was, but understood real family always trumps Disney family! I switched that FP for Small World ~ because a Georgian meeting a U.K. friend IN FLORIDA exemplifies that It’s a small world after all!!

The restrooms in LTT are teeny tiny so we went to the ones that connect Frontierland/Adventureland. As I approached the Ladies Room, an older gentleman (not American) cut in front of me and walked (with authority) right in! I watched him glance around looking for urinals. He seemed genuinely perplexed. Wanting to help, but cognizant of the language barrier, I motioned that he was in the Women’s Room and pointed to the Men’s Room next door. He smiled appreciatively and walked past at least a dozen females on his way out.

I can’t make this stuff up.

I relayed the story to Woody as we walked to use our next FP....

....which was more of a medium pass, thanks to the back up at the entrance.

Em’s comment when she saw this picture? “Mom, I TOLD you where the camera is. How did you guys get it wrong?!”

Because we’re old. And forgetful.

Mr. Toad is sprouting.

Then we used our Small World FP. (I thought of you when riding, @Longers!)

We had front row seats so I captured a few unobstructed photos.

Shirley status -- front row of Small World!!!

In all the years of going to WDW, I have never ONCE been seated in the front row. :banghead:
Solo travelers and duos rarely get put in row 1. Bet you’ve been in the last row lots of times though! 😉

I'm surprised this dude doesn't have a cigarette hanging out of his fingers.
I thought he did at first glance😂
I thought he did too, @Darstarr, after I saw my post!
