Based on the most recent aerial photos of the new Star Wars Hotel, I'm wondering if it will look like a star destroyer or maybe some other ship?? Thoughts??

Pretty unlikely given the permits that have been posted here. Looked like a fairly standard-shaped building, though I haven't seen anything indicating what the outside walls will look like.

It's likely the front facade will be a land-based space port. Then, when inside, you'll take a shuttle to the space cruiser (an elevator with the illusion of travel). Everything indoors is themed to being in a space cruiser. When going to SWL, you enter another shuttle (a themed bus in a covered port-cochere).

We did SR about 15 times. Didn't get old at all. I don't think SR will be the limiting factor though - the cantina is the experience that is going to be the chokepoint.

I have to imagine that they'd put the fast track on the dining club expansion.

Except for the front entrance, guests won't see the rest of the building so there will be no reason to theme. Probably why they are building it with cast concrete panels.

That was a proposal long long ago...I think it would have been sensational....and entering DHS through the back gate at the attraction. but no...that will never get built..

This might just be my odd way of thinking but............does anyone think that having a hotel with a space...or what looks basically like a permanent "nighttime" view might mess with people's sense of daytime and nighttime, if they stay in the hotel room for a while?

Day/night cycles can be simulated with lighting in the hotel as to not upset anyone's circadian rhythm.

In real life, the ISS covers its windows at night as to prevent the multitude of sunsets and sunrises it experiences each "day," and the crew sleeps in enclosed modules, wearing sleeping masks.

I imagine covered/dimmed portholes and dimming of onboard light should suffice.
