Same here. The whole concept of this film is so bafflingly dumb that I can't help but be fascinated by it.
Plus it's written by the woman who did the first draft of Guardians of the Galaxy.

I kept waiting for Pikachu to start shouting obscenities and killing people. I just can't seperate Ryan Reynolds voice from deadpool now. Lol

I saw this today, thought it was pretty cute. Full disclosure, I have never played any Pokémon game, nor have I ever watched a movie or tv series. That said, I liked it. I did find it interesting that most of the jokes seemed to be for adults; there was a full row of children in front of me and I didn’t hear many reactions from them.
