August MK closing at 7pm

Hi, currently planning for my August trip and noticed this on the park hours for August 25th.

Anyone got any thoughts/insight why such an early close? i know park hours are posted then extended but all other dates show a 9pm close...

I feel your sweat. I was without power for 6 days after Hermine came through last Labor Day. First few days weren't too bad, thanks to cloud cover, but once the skies cleared...yikes!

So yes you can relate. Not fun at all. It was sunny everyday that I remember. Brutal! Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy but I rather be hot than freezing cold like under 30-40. Lol Now when I sleep or take a hot bath/shower I like it cold in the house but outside under 30-40 nope. Lol We have had cold weather like that while at WDW but not often where I had to wear gloves etc. Can we just get a happy medium. High 72 and low 50. Lol

Another 7:00 close on Friday, September 1. While it may not even be finalized yet, it does look like these dates are shaping up to be some of the earliest MNSSHP ever. I know this bothers some, but it's also working out nicely for some of us summer vacationers who would never get a chance otherwise. We were looking for something we haven't done for our son's 5th birthday, and this just might fall perfectly!

Now if they'd just officially release the dates so I could get all of our dining locked in...

i wish they would release the dates if indeed it is MNSSHP...we've reached our 180 window now so have booked all my adr's- will just have to shuffle them around if necessary..

Dining question...if they announce a party date, will later dining times be made available? For example, Be Our Guest offers 6:00 as their latest reservation on a 7:00 closing, I'm assuming this will be extended when party dates are announced?
