Fix it up! Fix it up! Fix it up! Don't let it ride into the sunset in the poor condition I saw in July.
I wouldn't be shocked if they're letting it go until closing like we saw with Splash, Country Bears, even Tom Sawyer (as many of the props and water effects on the island were broken). Although I would love to see them do some sprucing before it goes, a full refurb to fix stuff seems unlikely.

I’m so tired of being told I like something because of nostalgia.
That wasn’t necessarily my intention. I know there are a million reasons why we like the things we like.

The Dinosaur preshow is incredibly well-done. It’s full of memorable quotes, and features two great performances. But I do think part of the charm comes from how 90s it feels. It’s nostalgic.

These parks are built on nostalgia. Main Street U.S.A, Frontierland, Carousel of Progress, etc. Even things that weren’t originally built as nostalgic throwbacks become that over time. We like them for a wide variety of reasons. We love the artistry, the storytelling, the attention to detail. But we can’t completely dismiss nostalgia as a factor. The parks, at their very best, make us feel like kids again. That’s nostalgia.

Interesting that this specifically states that the ride will have Antonio chasing his family through the Colombian rainforest. Was that premise ever officially stated by Disney? If so apologies for forgetting.

From Disney:
"If you’re a fan of drawers, floors, and doors, let’s go! The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into…"

Huh, so apparently the ride WILL take place entirely in Antonio's room?
No, it'll have his room at the end of the ride, but I assume we're going all throughout the Casita (and the rooms) during the ride, but here's a TL;DR of all the information we know if you want it

Whoever wrote this must be a regular attendee of DL. Otherwise, they would have referenced the MMRR version at HS.
