MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I imagine it's going to fit into the same menu niche as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Which is also my tactful way of saying it's exactly how you'd classify that attraction. In fact, I would not be surprised if it finally displaces it for LLSP.

But is it a destination headline like Radiator Springs Racers? Absolutely no chance in the world.
Yeah I was thinking SDMT D-ticket too.

I thought WDI stated in the blog post that they worked to address the noise complaint people raised, stating that guests will hear the cars around the entrance to the attraction and the other sides they're using trees and landscapes to help buffer noises.

That’s talking about the wide area. This was about the cars themselves. Vehicles that weigh thousands of pounds and at speed will have tire noise

The Liberty Belle would have been a amazing augmentation to Tiana's as there is a riverboat in the movie and the island could have been Mama Odie's Island. But Disney fell short on the vision. Cars should have been added to Hollywood Studios as it is a Pixar flick, there is room considering the old buildings that are hardly of any use now that there really is no studio being used in that location. I love new things being added but not at this cultural expense.

If people were *really* concerned about noise pollution from a ride, they'd be non-stop bellyaching from the piped in narration of the People Mover. It's not in each car. It's blared at the vehicles as they pass by. Meaning it's blared at guests walking underneath. I would love to have leisurely seat in Tommorowland where there is indeed a lot of bench-like seating, but the same phrase blared over and over again makes that impossible if I want to keep my sanity.

And, of course, if people were *really* concerned about noise pollution from a ride, they'd be screaming non-stop to have Speedway shut down.

But since this all being imagined in people's mind, I'm imagining that the Riverboat toot will wind up being louder than two EV vehicles whizzing by.

I’ll try to make this quick but a thought I had while watching voices of Liberty today - as they were singing the medley of Armed Forces songs and a retired member of the army stood up…. I got quite emotional. Then they ended with singing “We the People” and it was such a perfect moment.

These “nostalgic” moments, are why I have a desire to visit Disney parks. Cars are fun. I love cars land at DCA and Radiator Springs Racers is one of Disneys best of recent years.

But cartoon cars aren’t going to make me pay $1500 for an AP.

The Disney parks that many of us fell in love with had a balance for all ages - those of us craving nostalgia in steam powered vehicles, ragtime and Americana music, and even the now nostalgic vision of the future of old Epcot and Tomorrowland.

A huge part of that is gone now…. No matter what the cars attraction is, it won’t replace what the island, riverboat, and rivers provided.

I also question how they will transition from Cars to Villains.
Easy. Put an animatronic of Chick Hicks at the border of Villains Land.
When the only Pixar properties to have more than 2 movies are Toy Story and Cars.
I'm sure they're gonna greenlight an Inside Out 3 at some point. I don't disagree with what you're saying about Cars' popularity, just thought I'd bring that up.
I find the whining about noise humorous.
"All the noise, noise, noise, NOISE!"
:Looks at concept art:
Weren't Luigi and Guido in the concept art, too?

Original Epcot when all is said and done was a basically a permanent worlds fair, which I LOVED. But all you need to do is see how less relevant worlds fairs are today vs decades ago - there is your answer.
I would argue that's because people gave up on the concept of optimistic futurism which is why EPCOT is needed now more than ever.
