Hey, guys. A little short notice, but I'll be going live with Tiki in a little under a half hour to talk about my trip to Tokyo Disneyland.

Nice podcast guys (I was planning to get to Tokyo Disneyland in May 2020 but that didn't happen)! Looking forward to the Tokyo DisneySea and WDW Rides Rankings podcasts!

Japan beats U.S.

I like that Tokyo Disneyland is easy to get to via public transportation (I took a train to get to Disneyland Paris when I was there). It sounds strange that Cast Members would applause first-timers but that's their focus on service over there! Your experience of Space Mountain backstage also sounds a bit crazy! It sounds like Monsters Inc., Beauty and the Beast, Winnie the Pooh, Country Bears Jamboree, and Big Thunder Mountain are all great over there!

Oh, and we lost Tiki!!! 😂

The applauding is VERY Japanese. They’re very big on customer service and “cute” celebrations for things like that. I thought it was really funny.

The train is great until something happens like what I went through trying to leave. Past that every form of transportation was fast and on time. Even the in-park transportation was quick with the next vehicle sometimes pulling in while the last was leaving.

Definitely make Tokyo a priority. Japan is still in a weird state, but they’re making slow progress on a return to normalcy. Hopefully things will be open by this time next year (though I’d expect earlier)

Whoa, you got a lot done! I didn't think it was possible during the summer. You had some surprisingly short waits.

Wrapped up my Disneyland leg of my trip today. It was so amazing, was able to experience every open attraction in the resort except for the trolley at DCA, and the canoes, sailing ship and rise. Big W!

Unfortunately Disneyland Forever had the castle projector broken and the steamboat in fantasmic was nonoperational, but a big plus was riding space mountain with the lights on!

No
Darkness on the front unfortunately there is no B-Mode it seems. If there was it wouldve been much better tbh.
That must have looked weird. Not surprised there’s no B-mode at all, considering Disneyland Forever designed as a projection-heavy show. It would’ve been better if they had an old-school B-mode show, like pre-projection mapping RDCT:
