    Updates to the Seas Pavilion

I saw it in either November of 2019 or November of 2020. I can’t remember which trip it was. I visit the parks several weeks a year, though, and that was the first time in a long time I saw it being used.

Describe your first trip to WDW. How old were you? What year was it?

February 1972 I was 6 years old. I remember the characters, especially the Aristocats, roaming around Main Street USA. My most vivid memory is of feeling a tap on my shoulder and turning around to discover it was Captain Hook. It scared the daylights out of me. He still freaks me out. Lol

Wilderness Lodge Adding Gingerbread Log Cabin for 2019

I just went over to Wilderness Lodge to see the Christmas decorations. The gingerbread house is up but nothing else is.

    Delivery to hotel

I’ll be staying on property (Pop) in a few weeks. Do any of the services like Garden Grocer, WaterButler, or Prime Now deliver directly to the room or do they only deliver to bell services? I’ll be in the room when the order comes.

    Expedition Everest...How bad is it?

I was the same way. I wouldn’t ride ToT, Everest, or RnR for years. For some reason, though, once I turned 50, I decided to throw caution to the wind. As for Everest, I figured if I could handle Splash, I could handle it, too. I was right! I LOVE all 3 of them, but Everest and ToT are now my...

The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History'

When I just opened this thread I began reading the very first posts from April 2016, where there was disbelief and disgust (for the most part) of the rumor that this Muppet show in Liberty Square was potentially happening. It’s interesting to compare it to the most recent posts, where so many...

Ways of prepaying for food other than the dining plan?

I do this as well. My cousin actually puts all her expenses on her Disney Visa each month and pays it in full before it accrues interest. She builds up a lot of Disney $ this way.

Ways of prepaying for food other than the dining plan?

I mostly just go to counter service restaurants. When we do go to a sit down meal and have a waiter/waitress, I usually tip 20% cash (unless there are problems).

Ways of prepaying for food other than the dining plan?

Go to disneygiftcard.com You can set up an account, and whenever you get a gift card, enter it. You can choose one card to transfer the others to.

Ways of prepaying for food other than the dining plan?

I’ve gotten where I’ll try to buy Disney gift cards whenever I can at Target, using my Redcard (5% discount). Before my trip I’ll load all my gift cards onto a single card, and then use it to pay for my meals/snacks/drinks when I’m in the parks or at the resort. It’s worked out great! Since I’ve...

    Fall AP rates

I booked a room at Pop back in April for a trip from Nov. 17-23. It was at rack rate. This morning I tried to apply the AP discount. The price of the room with the “discount” ended up being MORE than the original rack rate. Same thing with the Fun and Sun discount. Apparently I’m better off...
