Will Disneyland USA suffer? ALL Of Disney's Theme Parks Now Closed - Reopening Dates Unknown

The lack of testing is extremely frustrating. My work has someone who has the symptoms and the doctor has said they likely have it but won't test. We are a small team with a lot of interaction with each other. Tomorrow we figure out how to see clients over video calls and remote access the...

Will Disneyland USA suffer? ALL Of Disney's Theme Parks Now Closed - Reopening Dates Unknown

I'm assuming Seattle will get told tonight or in the morning that the bars and such need to shut down. Im really starting to wonder if I'm going to be stuck at home not able to work in the next week. Bye bye money I saved for a week long Disney trip in September. I just hope we can all bounce...

We are the only animal ophthalmology clinic in the Seattle area and we are booked six months in advance for appointments. We treat a wide variety of animals and our doctor goes and does work at the zoo and other wildlife establishments.

I work a receptionist job and I can tell you that our older clients are the ones panicked and mass canceling appointments and the young people are the ones jumping at the chance to get into our clinic. I guess it all just depends on how you are actually willing to view things. Don't forget us...

It's not all on us. We have been told to stay home if able and any group more than 250 is banned. Tourism has basically stopped and we should have been getting an influx of people starting this week with the weather getting better and cruise ships were meant to start docking this week. It also...

A lot of Seattle restaurants are closing starting tomorrow since business is so slow. It was not mandated but because our local economy has tanked. Some are moving to take out even the super nice expensive ones. I was downtown last night to have dinner with my friends since we have no idea when...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Seattle is already starting to feel this. I'm hearing that business has dropped 30-40% for a lot of small businesses. Working at an animal eye clinic has me a bit worried about if my job will be safe when this is all said and done. We are doing fine right now but we are seeing more cancelations...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I think Seattle's response to things will start to paint a picture of the country as a wholes response. We are all getting prepared that we might end up locked down. We are all hopeful that won't happen but this city is on edge right now. It's as if you can almost feel the anxiety in the air. No...

I'm very surprised emerald City comic Con is still going on next week in Seattle. The city is a ghost town right now.

Not Disneyland related per say but I work at a vet clinic in Seattle near UW and we are starting to have people cancel appointments with us. It can take up to 6 months to get in with us and we usually have very few people cancel. It makes me wonder how many vacations are starting to be canceled...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

This is true and I'm sure not everyone will get it but acting like it does not have that potential is also not wise. Like I said it's not the end of the world but it's also not nothing. I live in Washington State. I'm not that worried just will make sure to take precautions since who knows how...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

The problem with this thinking is that if we have the flu and this every winter we then at least double the amount of people who die. That's not even taking into account that if it goes away in the summer that it won't mutate next season. What that mutation is and how it effects us won't be...

Your not wrong about the millennials freaking out. Here in Seattle apparently the Costco's have had a lot of business in the last few days. I'm going to assume the local Fred Meyer is about to be the same. Last year it snowed and the same thing happened. I say this as a millennial myself that...

    1st Time Disneyland

I found it to be much more relaxing than WDW. It's really nice not having to book what you are doing months in advance and just wandering around seeing where the day takes you. Just be warned splash at DL will get you way more wet than WDW.
