Liberty Square! No spinner, no coaster. Almost the same as when it opened. Muppets are the only real IP disaster, but Muppets are always a good disaster. Food is good. Shops are more unique than most places. Love the riverboat!
I’m torn. On the one hand it sounds like a great fit for The Land. On the other hand I see CGI Soarin’, CGI Coaster in a Box, CGI Space Restaurant; are we gonna get CGI Canada and CGI China? Illuminations:CGI?
There is beauty in reality, I hope they find a happy medium.
Gimme back my Tomorrow! If You Had Wings, Flight To The Moon, and America The Beautiful. While you are at it rebuild those Entrance Fountains and the Waterfall. Then refurb Carousel of Progress back to the ride it was when when they installed it in Florida. Keep Space Mountain if you have too...
Prices are harder for a family larger than three or four to justify. If my wife and only had one child, I have no doubt WDW trips would be more common. I suspect that we would spend more money in the parks and stay on property. It looks like they are trying to figure out how to get blood from...
Any in park transportation. There is nothing quite like riding up Main Street USA in a horse drawn anything or chugging briskly across World Showcase Lagoon on a Friendship Boat. My fave is of course the WDW Railroad. Between MS Vehicles, the Skyway, and the Railroad, the old Magic Kingdom...
Wife and I were talking Florida August 17 to 30 and I was thinking maybe go for a few days to take advantage of Canadian resident discount. ( must purchase by March 15th) We aren’t interested in Studios even with Star Wars. Wondering if the chance of soft openings might draw people away from...
Not a cheap shot at all! I drive a bus route (not at Disney of course) and I know tons of stuff about the communities along my route. I certainly maintain a professional attitude and do not spread rumours. Doesn’t mean I don’t know everything. Being a bus driver at WDW would be challenging. It...
I voted for Harambe Village because my kids just had such a blast there . Anandapur is gorgeous but it’s lacking something I can’t put my finger on compared to Harambe. I’ve got to say though that Dinoland does a much better job than the circus area off Fantasyland at being what it is. It’s fun...
Why is it called a gravity building? I suppose I’m going to find out that’s a dumb question, but I have to ask. Roller coaster term or something to do with this specific project?
Also, I took the time this week to check out the movies. The first Marvel movies i’ve watched except for the first...
I was there frequently in ‘72, ‘73, and ‘74. Age 10 to 12. I was excited for space mountain and disappointed when we moved just before it opened. Went back in ‘78 and finally got to ride. I really enjoyed it. It was satisfying to ride something I had been so excited for. It also changed the...
Saw it with my wife to be in 2009, took our 3 kids back this past November and it turned out that ROE was the only night time show we caught. It will forever be what our kids think of as Disney fireworks unless we go back. It is also our Saturday Morning Breakfast music.
