I love the MSEP, and have made trips specifically to see it. However, I have long wondered why TDO / WDW can't bring us a DreamLights style MSEP to MK. The technology that exists for such a thing could blow away anything prior, but still keep "Baroque Hoedown" as the theme - which is exactly...
The delusional self-importance of the people in the "revealing details" video is astounding. "Tiana's powerful story." "We want to honor her heritage." "Princess week!" blah blah blah.
People....it's a cartoon princess and a cartoon frog. Get over yourselves.
That being said, when is this...
Alright!!
Fun fact: I live 7 minutes from Biden's Delaware home. Been caught in a local "Joe jam" in traffic many times.
"Funner" fact: I can't wait to see him up there!
Even more fun fact: I was also super stoked to see the Trump, Obama, and Bush versions when they debuted! (Especially BHO and...
YEAH! keep it coming...we will be back to normal in no time at this rate. Holding out hope for the 50th to be a proper, normal celebration!
I'm sure this is somewhere else, but can anyone report if they have resumed proper preshows for the likes of Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and...
Agreed. I really wish it would get the TLC it deserves. And in that clip above, the lack of sound combined with the fact that they skip the pre-show takes it from "must do" to "must skip" right now for me.
When they reopened, WDW said they would not be using FP+ so that they could use the dedicated FP queues to space people out. However, after two trips during the pandemic, I did not see a single dedicated FP queue area being used. This could EASILY fix the overflow problems on many attractions...
Perhaps I misspoke (mistyped?). All should be accommodated. I'm 100% in agreement. But when "politicos" use that term, it usually means any thing BUT inclusion. When used by such folks, if you're just an average run-of-the-mill-person, you will be made to feel bad for being so.
Because "inclusion" is quite frequently code for "exclusion - marginalizing a 'normal' person, and catering to the extreme vocal minority." Hopefully it means "INCLUSION" and nothing more.
I don't speak for others, but I can tell you why I can't stand "Paint The Night." It's the music, mostly. It's the same generic, four-to-the-floor-style pop music that has dominated the FM airwaves for the better part of the 2010s. There's nothing unique or "Disney" about it. It feels super...
Excellent thread title!!
If MSEP is to return, it should do so bigger and badder than ever. Dream Lights style. Not the taped-together original ‘72 version with the 2001 soundtrack, pretending to be something it’s not. Either that, or bring back the ORIGINAL music with those old floats...much...
I rode this for the first time this week. I was very confused by the lack of pre-show and how the movie screen got a big hole in it, so after we didn't watch it, I pulled out my phone and watched it on YouTube in the next room. It really doesn't make sense that they have guests stand in that...
Haha! See to me, the immersion is just as good, if not better, than the ride itself. It all builds to the ride, especially for the first timers. The reveal of getting off the rebel ship into the First Order's hangar is a real jaw-dropping moment. To casually walk through a cast member entrance...
