Have you ever met a trans person? If not, there's a chance you have and didn't notice. Your "most people can tell" logic isn't really based in anything. Most trans women don't look like men in dresses.
Hmm. First, like I said in my post I tend to pass well enough that people don't realise I'm trans. The Caitlyn Jenner comment is true, but I'm not Caitlyn Jenner. I'm like 20. I'm less concerned about a child being rude to me but rather the chances of being subject to DeSantis' recent anti-trans...
Hey everyone, haven't posted here in a while but I really want to get back on this forum.
My biggest dream at the moment is to take my boyfriend to Orlando, mainly for a Disney vacation but also to visit Universal too! I've been trying to plan a trip for a long time but I've had major concerns...
Just a small update, while browsing images of the WDW Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, I discovered a set of pins with some very retro imagery.
What really interests me is when exactly these pins were produced and sold? They use obvious scenes from the 1955 version of the attraction, I'm unsure whether...
What do you honestly think convinced the original Imagineers to end Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in Hell? I understand that the dark rides took some creative liberties with the source material, but it's such a bizarre concept. I could easily see Imagineers in the 70s pulling something as crude off like...
Just a question I have: I am on the autism spectrum, and I use Disney's DAS (Disability Access Service) in the parks. I am curious if anyone here knows how any changes to, or the potential removal of, FastPass+ could potentially affect the current DAS?
I've always been curious, what was up with the park during the New Fantasyland project? Was Fantasyland actually closed off for a whole year at Disneyland? I couldn't imagine modern Imagineering pulling off something on that scale nowadays, closing the most popular section of the park for that long.
@Rich T I'm curious, I did this drawing of what the Doorknob crash door in the 1958 Alice in Wonderland may have looked like, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on how accurate it is? If there's any details I missed I'd really appreciate them.
Snow White's Enchanted Wish:
In my opinion the update is nowhere near as good as the 1983 version. The pacing is too rushed, there's too much screens that don't blend in with the sets, and the scenes have too much going on to take in everything. The new cliff scene is especially awful.
I'm curious, is there any images or descriptions of the Boulder scene in the original ride besides the one E-Ticket photo? It's easily the least documented of any scene in opening day Fantasyland.
