I did go back for another ride around 11A and things ran very smoothly. CMs were really digging into their roles on the Star Destroyer and it was a blast! :)

Got to experience Rise for the first time this morning (12/24) and thought I'd share details to possibly help others with planning. Drove in and arrived at the parking booth at 5:59A. Short line at security at 6:04A then waited about 30ft from the ticket booths until 6:32A when the turnstiles...

I expect the surprise at the end will be "Train Engineer Goofy" pulling off his mask and saying "Just goes to show that anything can happen in the movies! " ;-)

While I prefer WDW overall, Disneyland has it going on with: Space Mountain, Pirates, Indy, and the Casey Jr. Circus Train. The way fastpasses were handled at Disneyland last year was delightful as it didn't require planning each day weeks in advance...felt more like a schedule-free vacation.

Still miss the chocolate chip cookies from the Gourmet Pantry at the Disney Village - they were the best! Also the brownies that were available at the Main Street Train Station long ago (downstairs by the lockers). Likely better for my health that they're extinct...
