Pirates is not supported due to the way its queue is configured. They have attempted to add Fastpass to it multiple times, but it's not really possible without stretching the standby line all across New Orleans Square. I don't see Lightning Lane or anything else like it ever coming to DL's Pirates
Donkey Kong was originally supposed to open with the land, but was pushed back for a phase 2 expansion. They really wanted this open by the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
As far as I am aware, we don't actually know what is going to be built in Singapore. The artwork that was released resembles the Japan/Orlando versions of the land, but I don't think we definitively know what will be there.
This artwork from Universal has been floating around on the Internet...
There's an empty footprint off to the side of the new land, and there's a visible DKC Returns loading screen style mural where the entrance to this future area will likely be
I've been keeping up with info about Dreams but have yet to actually play it. Is VR required to play these levels, or is there a non-VR version available?
I don't understand your objection to my comment, as it appears we are on the same page. What I was referring to was people claiming this would become the next Universal Dubailand, remaining an empty plot indefinitely. All I am saying is that whether it's 2024, 2026, or even 2028, a theme park...
I've been reading a lot of doom and gloom in my social media feed within the last hour about this. While it wouldn't surprise me to see this project delayed a year or two, I'm very doubtful that it's dead in the water as some people are claiming it to be.
While I do believe there will indeed be big cuts, if you are referring to the article by BlogMickey for specifics I would take it with a grain of salt. He's know for being... quite unreliable at times.
Conversely, it makes no sense to leave a fully completed theme park attraction closed for a year that cast members have likely already been trained for. The cost of upkeep despite it not operating wouldn't be worth it. It could open later this year for Japan residents to enjoy and next year...
I'm not so sure about that. Super Nintendo World & especially Beauty and the Beast are very far into construction. While it's unlikely that they'll meet their original intended opening date, it's still likely that they'll open sometime within the year. The Olympics don't just require Japan to be...
That's fair, but what is better or what is worse can be pretty subjective at times. I knew a lot of this forum leans towards preferring more classic attractions as opposed to their modern replacements, but in a lot of cases that is at least up for debate.
It's also important to consider that...
From what I heard the main reason was that the attraction needed a new fleet of vehicles to replace the old ones, and Disney wasn't willing to pay that. They were more willing to invest in a new attraction that may draw in more crowds and overall be cheaper to operate than make a large...
No. The facade will be themed to a theater within Toontown. The cartoon exists as a cartoon within the already cartoon themed world, which I guess is their excuse for the ride having a different art style from the rest of the land. The queue however will remain consistent with the design found...
