This is the type of money grab that really makes me not want to go back. I don't care about the $2. I care about the fact that you have no choice but to park at the resort and therefore it's not optional. At that point, I'd prefer they just raised the room rates and eliminated the parking charge.

We're here this week, and Epcot is using this system. Kinda stinks. The other thing to note is don't use a fastpass on Lights Motor Stunt Show. We had one left, and kid want to watch show. I set up a fastpass since we knew time would be close. No point. Turns out the fastpass line dumps...

We did the Trek on June 29th. Me and 3 family members...none of us got sick. And, we ate the orchids, and the chicken salad, and drank the jungle juice. And, we did the hike in 95+ degrees at 1:30PM, using AKs discounted pricing. I'm guessing you only got the virus if you paid full price!

Now, THAT was funny! Thanks for the laugh! (And, I also don't understand any hate for this classic attraction...I am always fascinated by the scenes, and still wait to experience any of the rumored paranormal activity!)

I signed up for this for my trip in two weeks. For four people to do the trek, with taxes it came to $592. Pretty steep, but we'll only do it once, so that's fine.

We've always pushed their bedtime by an hour or so, meaning we have them asleep by about 9:30PM. Then, we just pull out our "Itty-Bity Book Lights" and read in bed. We're pretty boring!

Same thing happened to my son, but we were stuck on Ellen's Waste of Energy...ugh...not only did he cry loudly, but we were stuck on that ride being even more uncomfortable than I already am on that ride.

Fair enough. I concede that the comparison is extrapolation based partly on "what could be". We all know that WDW, if nothing else, will test things and if successful (to them - meaning, more $ in their pockets), the pattern will be expanded. I cannot speak to the quality of Starbucks, since...

People are digging way too deep into my personal opinion...this isn't about sponsorship, or selling a simple Coke product. For me, it's all about a new and different experience. Currently, I don't walk around Epcot and my choices for food are chain food commercial. I don't see McDonalds in...

Nothing wrong with corporate sponsorship. That is different than what is being discussed here. Kodak helping pay the costs of a pavilion in exchange for some advertising is different than guests having to ingest the product of another company. And, while having a Starbucks isn't really a big...

Don't drink coffee, but I find any non-Disney commercialization of the parks to deter from the experience. If I want non-Disney, I'll go to a Cedar Fair park.

I was going to say the same thing...all of the options have their appeal, but a whole new part? Regardless of the theme, it has to win. Especially, given the overall indifference people show toward AK, another park could be a win.

I love the fact that WDW is accessible for people who just might need some assistance getting around. No problem at all. I don't appreciate when it's time for everyone to disband after a parade, there is almost always someone in a scooter in the wall-to-wall crowd of people who feels the need...

Stitch...Country Bears...Ellen's Waste of Energy...and, I'm sure I'm in a minority here, but the DHS Lights, Motor, Action Stunt Show, or whatever it's called - once you've seen it once, you've seen it...I appreciate the skill involved, but nothing has changed in the years I've seen it.
